I thank Chipotle for introducing me to the green and chipotle varieties. I love the chipotle one but it seems to taste wrong on anything but hamburgers or Chipotle burritos. It's weird.

I recently tried the scorpion sauce and its okay, but I'll drink a bottle of chipotle on any sort of mexican food. I buy half gallon at a time that usually lasts me about a year.

One time I went to Chipotle and used an excessive amount of all the Tabascos on every bite. Take a bite, splash splash splash. Take another bite, splash splash splash.
In the end the burrito tasted like nothing but hot sauce and it was a good day.
normal and habanero, i like both
but since its mostly vinegar i cant have the normal one anymore since it takes too much of it to make things spicy and then the vinegar is overpowering

Original for breakfasts and eggs, green for chili >>21562174
It's honestly better than the original in a lot of situations besides breakfast, but it doesn't beat the original or green cholula. They also did a Sriracha spin off when there were shortages of Japanese foods a few years ago and it's serviceable. Don't buy the habinaro one tho it tastes like chemical x.

Cholula original is the only one to buy, and yes, it's perfect for eggs and I'd also state for a recently unwrapped tamal, esp a cuban or costa rican version.
I don't buy Tabasco, just Crystal or Louisiana brands. They have less vinegar, and taste more like chili.
For other choices, I want a more whole chili topping.

Cholula is nasty and overwhelms anything you put it on, especially eggs. Your advice is the opposite of what people should do.

I like the green one, because it's fruity and not vinegar tasting like original. it goes great with pizza, I mainly use it to spice up turkish garlic sausage on sandwiches, etc. every time i think of "jalapenos paired good with that, but i don't have any" the green stuff helps me out. I only got two hot sauces here, it's sriracha and green tabasco. try it out with your egg, you will like it. just go easy on the salt.
when I'm cooking chili con carne I like to use the chipotle tabasco because it spices up and gives a nice smoke flavour.
Habanero is the king, but chipotle would probably be good if it were sold anywhere nearby.
I had their regular plain variant recently, and it was terrible. Did they change something? It was very watery and less spicy than any generic vinegar + cayenne hot sauce.

The other flavors are good, but nothing beats the vinegary fermented taste of the original. The acidity is what brings flavor. Like ancient roman garum, but with chilies. It reflects the ethos of the new world.

It is. It's fucking sweet too. Great hot sauce you guys got there.
Tapatio can fuck right off too. Another lame sauce that isn't hot. Although I do like the smiling vaquero on the label.
