Lol I love doing this, though, OP. I'll sit there with my menu open and take note of which servers are working which sections. Then, I'll flag over servers working sections that I'm not in to ask them for water refills, and ask them endless pointless questions about menu items ("Where are these mussels sourced? Is it ethical?"). I'll hem and haw at the menu for as long as I can - usually around 45 minutes or so. When MY server comes by, I delay them as long as possible with "still deciding" while absolutely refusing to make eye contact. Finally I'll get up and leave and make something up about a food allergy (I usually go with black pepper)
It's even more fun to do this with a big group and not call ahead of time because then that fucks with the kitchen staff as well
