if i go to any restaurant that serves burger, the first thing I will look for is a burger with egg. if there is no burger with egg, I will ask if they can add one.

Yes, if its a hangover burger its delicious.
Make that and some tater wedges after you wake up from the drinking the night before and you are good to go.

never tried it, but it seems like an abomination to me, like putting herbs, butter and pepper on a steak

Carl's Jr has a very good breakfast burger, but their breakfast hours are autistic and I have to take the freeway to get to the nearest one so I only get to eat it once a year.

What the fuck is wrong with Australians? How in the fuck do you eat a cheeseburger and think "gday mate, ya know what this tucka needs? Some bloody beetroot! Crikey, now that's a burger!"

rate my next burger

ground chuck smash burger
onion ticklers
bacon jam
hot pepper jelly
jalapeno peanut butter
gorgonzola
pepperjack
raspberry serrano bbq sauce (berries and peppers from my garden)
over medium soy sauce egg
arugula
kewpie buns

i feel like it might be on the sweeter side so im gonna sauce the shit out of the egg and toss the arugula in a dressing

Far too many sauces. Bacon jam and pepper jelly? Peanut butter and barbecue sauce? Soy sauce egg? Too busy. Either do bacon jam and the barbecue sauce, or pepper jelly and the peanut butter.

noted, will probably go pepper jelly and jalapeno peanut butter cause that combo cannot do wrong

Based. I'd also pick between the gorg and the jack, to be honest. I think the gorg might be a little too funky for everything but that's a matter of taste.

An over Easy/Medium will be excessive on an already savory burger that lacks either sweetness or acid-tang. Otherwise, a well fried egg is can go with anything.

I understand it but I've never really liked it. Too rich for my blood even when I was young, but then I think I also stopped getting bacon on burgers around the time I got a driver's license.
