People legit get hooked on Coca-Cola specifically like no other soft drink. I've known a few of them over the years. I get it too. If I were into that as a vice I can't think of a sugary beverage that tastes as good as an ice cold Coke. But out of plastic bottles is gross to me. Or fountains. Really just glass bottles or cans will do. I don't know why that is. Great with lemon too. But I don't touch the stuff. Not for years. If for some reason I'm going to drink a caffeinated sugar soda it's coke. Otherwise I'd probably have a ginger ale.

My American wife used to be soda-addicted, and she'd regularly down like 6+ full size diet cokes a day, it was insane. She'd have 1 for each meal, so that's 3. 1 to wake up, 1 for bed, so that's 5 total. 1 more spare one as the midday snack, so that's 6. And this is not including any refills. Absolutely heinous. In a few years I've got her down to 2 mini-Cokes per day. I'm aiming for 0 a day next.
