Local supermarket had the "special" flavour on sale ridiculously cheap, $1 per five-pack. Shoulda gotten more than just two.
They're on sale $3/pk this week at Hmart throughout the US (except NY and Hawaii lmao) if you wanna stock up.

yep, it is delicious but don't forget, all things crack-like and certainly all things third-world are a scam, so be mindful and cautious.

There's a reason this stuff is so cheap, it's very low quality. They don't call Indonesia the India of Asia for nothing. I'd limit yourself to 2 packs a month.

technically the subcontinent is a different tectonic plate, so although it has long ago crashed into asia and shares borders (albeit mountainous), and also shares the same monkey-like people as asia, it's actually another continent from a geology perspective

At my local aldi the decent ramen packets are $2.50, mediocre $2 for 425gb, indomie is $3.70 and the really cheap is $1.89. All for 425g which probably includes the weight of the flavour packets because that's how they operate.
1 kg packet of dried noodles on their own is $3.10. Even the cheapest is $4.45 for an equivalent amount.
Unless you're too lazy to boil a pot of water you're better off buying the regular dried noodles, and replicate the sauce with a bottle of soy sauce, sesame oil and minced garlic.

It's just instant ramen with sweet soy sauce (kecap manis). Go to any Asian food store and look for the ABC Brand Kecap Manis. Buy a whole bottle. Buy a big pack of dried no-frills ramen. Boil the ramen, remove the water, douse the ramen with kecap manis and sesame oil, sprinkle with sliced chilli. Done.

That's the one with a bunch of packets and oils, right? Those are damn good but probably even unhealthier than regular ramen. I could eat two or three packages in one pot. I don't miss eating that way now. If I ever decide I don't like life anymore I'm going to commit suicide by food and ramen will be a big part of that. It helped make me a hamplanet before and it could again. Until then I avoid food crack like it was real crack.

Force all the oils down to one side of the packet, use scissors to cut them all open, and then squeeze them all out at the same time. Should get most of the stuff out with minimal oil spillage on hands.
