I've never tried actual black garlic but this seasoning is tops. Sweet, smokey, garlicy. It's really good on roasted vegetables.

Yeah it's really not rocket appliances, you can use it in any dish that utilizes fats. I made a grilled cheese with black garlic butter too (spread it onto the cheese side, not for frying), it was heavenly, also used it for risotto, omelettes and steaks

Anon, they are absolutely lying with that product name. Black garlic is actually black, not brown with white specs. That looks like they just toasted a bunch of granulated garlic. If it is sweet while looking like that, they probably just added sugar to it. And black garlic is not smokey which supports my theory that product is just toasted garlic. There's no regulations in the US for classifying what black garlic actually is.
