Margins are too thin to justify it in an oversaturated market, unless you have a specific niche that stands out you are doomed to fail plus the capital needed to start it and maintain it during potential dips in business means you would have to be well off enough to take a hit and that doesn't even take into consideration your own personal living situation and expenses.

I genuinely don't see why would you spend money on opening a business like that. You have the money, do literally anything else. And I especially can't comprehend people that look around, see 3 pizza places within 200 meters, and think it's a great idea to open a 4th one. It's really no wonder most businesses fail.

Making good food for your friends and family at your own pace is a lot different than making food for the public for profit. Even the most successful restaurant owners have usually failed a few times. It's legitimately a brutal industry.
