Sure, OK. I already said that. Hey, give an alternative.

What's the point of this product?
A good quality pasta is 12 to 15% protein anyway, which is very good for a carb. You can get the rest of your protein from meat, dairy, eggs, legumes, and nuts.
In other words, a healthy balanced diet.

I'm not a vegan, but I just wanted to save some cash by not overspending on meats. Was gonna see if I could do some alternatives half of the month, but this shit is nasty. It's a little better freshly cooked, but sucks any other way.

Any organic egg pasta from Italy is S rank. It's not just the Italians are good at making it, they've refused to use Glyphosate in their wheat for two decades.

Go to a butcher and get the shit cuts like skirt steak, might not taste the best but it will get you your protein & B12. Vegtable protein rarely has a complete amino acid profile, off the top of my head only quinoa and buckwheat have meat equivalent out the box. Quinoa is expensive and it's debatable if we just shit out most of it out without absorbing anything. Buckwheat isn't popular in the West so you might have to go to a specialty store. Japanese style noodles are sometimes made with buckwheat, and the Slavs eat roasted buckwheat call kasha (which can be processed into flakes for a protein heavy alternative to oatmeal).

So eat more legumes then. They're cheap and versatile, poor people across the World have eaten them as the primary source of protein for centuries, incorporating some eggs, dairy, or meat when it's available or for a special occasion.
Grains + legumes constitute a complete protein intake. It's not going to be enough for a body builder, but for the average person it's perfectly adequate to stay healthy.

incomplete protein is a tarded thing to get hanged up on, if you aren't just eating one food all the time

Any shit marketed as "protein" or "healthy" is probably worse for you.

Only thing worse is sourdough pasta. Whoever came up with that deserves the same fate as the pineapple pizza guy.

this shit is so fucking stupid. it costs significantly more than a box of "regular" pasta and it has like a single gram more of protein. its the dumbest fucking thing ive ever seen. the macros are nearly identical and they are preying on the people who dont look closely enough to see it.

Really anything leaning into fads has a really good chance of being crap. Also being on 4chan too long has made me suspicious of things talking about added protein.

scam marketing. even this pasta has barely anymore protein than regular and it's usually done by manipulating the serving size.

everyone loves protein now so they just slap that term on all the labelling
