And I ask people to post about it MOAR because a greater demand will create a market. My local dairy never sold raw milk until it became a meme and they could charge an extra dollar/gallon to hippies, now they do. (Although that just raises more questions. If they're charging more because raw milk requires more hygienic milking and storage, who knows what kind of vile shit they allow in the pasteurized milk.)

they charge more because the people that seek it out are wealthier and the supply is smaller since demand is also smaller. keeping supply low also means they can sell it as a "premium" product despite it being easier to process. my local dairy charges like 8 dollars for a half gallon of regular whole raw milk.

It's possible to be allergic to whey protein which is in the liquid, but not the casein protein which is what cheese has. Butter has almost no protein.

You could try goat milk or A2 milk, they have a slightly different kind of protein that some people tolerate more. Otherwise you just have to avoid anything with whey.

I live in New Zealand. After going to Australia, I was shocked at how different (and inferior) their milk tastes.

It got me wondering: am I blessed drinking the tastiest milk on earth? Do I shudder to think of what American milk tastes like?
