The current recession is massive, however I can feed myself for a week with $80. How can they expect anyone to buy 20 wicked wings at $50 when they cost $8.99/kg at the supermarket

Here in Canada it's $5.99 ($4.27 USD) pre-tax and I think with there being some kind of special deal going on. Easily one of the worst bang for your buck fast food places.

They're running on fumes and trying to stay afloat as long as they can on addicted Gen X and millennials. Gen Z onwards have moved away from the major brands, not out of health concerns, but because they're too expensive.

Makes you wonder who the target demographic for this is. It is someone with enough money, but just wants KFC slop. You can go get a filet with mashed potatoes and broccoli for less money.
