If you say that you don't like the taste of eggs on a food-adjacent board (namely /ck/ and /fit/), you'll be told that you are bad at cooking. It's really weird. I can't think of any other food for which this is true.
The funniest part is that it's universally recognised that cooked eggs smell bad. But, apparently, if you think they taste bad as well, you just need to learn to cook them better.

overcooked eggs smell worse but i don't think a properly cooked egg really smells great either. i don't completely hate them and i can make them taste good by properly cooking them and combining them with other things but a plain egg doesn't taste great even properly cooked.

this happens on every board and every subject because people (for reasons I do not understand) cannot handle the fact that someone else doesn't like the food that they like. like it's a personal affront to them. usually these people have no sense of taste or smell and would eat shit if served it.

psychosomatic. eating a food that you are not allergic to would not make you feel bad for anymore than MAYBE 4 hours, and only because you ate too much, or over seasoned the food. no food I have ever eaten has made me feel bad ever. yeah I ate too much on a couple of occasions, but that has nothing to do with what the food was.
