then you aren't cooking it al dente. al dente means to the tooth. which means your tooth, which mean how YOU like it. it doesn't mean just slightly crunchy.

Al dente doesn't mean 'crunchy' to anyone.

‘al dente' literally means all teeth, referencing a time when pasta was made from the teeth of the swine which lived near rome. That pasta of course had to be cooked longer than modern flour-based pasta. Many italians still prefer the tougher texture of yore.

You are a weak-jawed homosexual. And also probably Asian.

Asians (east Asians (Koreans and Japs)) have a strong aversion to any food with bite to it.

Sorry but where did you get this information? It is completely wrong and al dente does not mean all teeth, "all" in Italian is translated with "tutto". The term al dente indicates the consistence of the pasta, which is firmer when you cook it a few minutes less, that's it. Retard.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but the culinary school you attended should really stick to cooking instead of making up wrong translations from other languages and teach you wrong, made up facts. You should ask for a refund.

'al dente' actually means 'like a teeth" referring to the tooth like shape of original pasta.

I freely admit that I actually prefer severely overcooked pasta –big whoop you reddit refugee fucks, sue me–...
...
My wife however likes her pasta "Al piano wire-o"... It really does fit in with the rest of her "balls to the wall psycho" personality though, so there's that...
