One of the things I noticed watching fatass documentaries:

In the US all immobile fatties have some sort of dysfunctional relationship, whether with parents, a partner, or sometimes a sibling. It is impossible to eat yourself immobile without help.

In the UK being obese qualifies you for disability help so its possible to eat yourself immobile while being completely alone as the NHS will send somebody over to cook for you and wipe your ass.

Never thought about that actually. I can only recall like maybe one guy that was relatively alone but he was living in a project building so he wasn't truly alone. Yeah the UK seems to be a lot less stingy with its benefits. Probably not a good thing but I lowkey envy that about Europe sometimes.
