I don't /generally/ buy from Walmart because, with little exception, they're more expensive than what I get elsewhere. Every single fresh vegetable is far costlier there than at a regular supermarket except garlic. I can buy a sack of about a bajillion heads of garlic for $3 or so there.
Meat? Waaaaay more expensive at Wally World.
The only things anyone should routinely buy from Walmart are non-food items like shampoo (92¢/bottle for VO5), detergent, paper goods and shit like that.
Sometimes, tinned fish is cheaper there, too, but that's it
