I was addicted to heroin for over 8 years and when I eat Little Caesars crazy bread, I have the same feeling of heroin.
1. Being unable to control myself
2. Living for nothing else.
3. No consequences matter
Yes, over actual bread. Luckily I am not actually addicted to it but it is a creepy feeling, especially if you have a history of addiction.

I feel like that about a lot of food, especially pizza.
Rockstar energy drinks, too. I can slam those like nothing.
I'm certainly aware of how much I'm consuming in the moment though and it does disgust me a times, but sometimes I'm insatiable.

Well it's not called "Normal Bread".

You may have a fungal overgrowth in your gut that is compelling you to overeat bread. It's more common than you think

Never heard of this. Is it the reason people who immediately fail at a low-carb lifestyle get so defensive of the body's "need" for carbs and bread?
Seems like some kind of conspiracy type thinking, but it's an interesting idea. Surely if that were a common cause for obesity we'd have heard about it from the medical community.

This whole thread makes me uneasy. I used to be fat as fuck and have also been addicted to drugs and booze. I don't take it for granted that I have my life and weight under control right now. Any time I could slip and get into an OP kind of situation. I hope not. That sounds terrible. I can't imagine being hooked on something so cheap and shitty. I'm sure they taste really great during that ten minute window while they're hot and fresh, but Little Caesar's isn't known for their quality foods. I bought one of their $5 pizzas once and it was about what I'd expect for an entire pepperoni pizza that only cost five bucks. And it was complete garbage once it was cold.
I've been in the depths of food addiction and the possibility of returning to that frightens me to consider. Because without drugs or alcohol there's only food.
Fuck, just thinking of that dopamine rush from a burger and fries or a fresh pan pizza or a huge plate of fried rice and sweet and sour pork has me praying for strength.
Get me out of America!
Or get me to Alaska or something where I can live off of salmon and cabbage and root vegetables without constant temptation and access to hot, fried starchy salty sweet miracles of food science.

what if they put small doses of heroin in their crazy bread
Anonymous No.21689738 [Report] >>21689760
salt, cheese (fat), and bread will do that
i refuse to believe garlic butter doesn't include parmesan (salt and cheese)
Anonymous No.21689760 [Report]

Which garlic butter do you think automatically contains cheese??
I assure you no one is sneaking that in there for free, especially not Caesar's.

Yeah and I think it's super under diagnosed in men because we don't get obvious symptoms like gross women do (yuck)
Men will just get itchy crotch and think nothing of it
While being mindlessly addicted to bread sticks!
It's the same creature causing the itching and bread stick addiction.
I didn't realize I was inflected by this monster until I tried the carnivore diet.
Even after eating two pounds of meat, completely stuffed... There was something whispering inside "eat some fucking pizza immediately"
After awhile I realized that "voice" wasn't coming from me .... I started to research what else it could be.
A fungus monster.

It's an ongoing battle. I use a lot of antifungal herbs in my diet, and some traditional medicine like papaya leaf tea. When Candida comes out of you it's really obvious and disgusting, but better out than in.

Welcome to /ck/ friend. I wish we had more foodholics like you. It would make the board a better place. Maybe you could take a stab at making your own crazy bread?

it's so good but you gotta get it with the sauce
Anonymous No.21690317 [Report]
funny thing is, they don't use that wrapper for the bread or any kind of ceramic jar for the sauce

Have you thought about a low dose glp? I thought I read before that it can help not just with hunger, but with addiction cravings generally

The opioid created by the digestion of milk protein is called casopmorphin while the gluten opioid is called gluteomorphin.

These food-derived opioids activate the same opioid receptors in the brain that respond to prescription pain pills and heroin.

The effect is compounded in processed cheese and processed gluten products.

The worst part of a food-based opioid sensitivity is that going gluten-free or dairy-free can cause severe withdrawal symptoms. These can include depression, mood swings, or worsened gut problems.

i had it bad last year after a spoiled fermentation attempt and being a retard about it. i had dandruff, swollen fingernails, fuzzy tongue, constipation, anemia, and pain throughout my abdomen. i’ve heard how good carnivore diet is for it, i debated going on it after being vegetarian for most my life but was able to fix the issue with a month of fluconazole. a nurse practitioner prescribed it and the doctors that heard after were all fucking pissed, they don’t want people to get better. they want us to decompose from the inside out by a fungus that probes its mycelium deep within our soft tissue until it reaches the bloodstream and kills us

Unfortunately Candida in the gut is much like Candida in the mouth, it forms into a plaque.
You can't get rid of dental plaque with a single dose of mouthwash. You need to practice daily dental hygiene to remove it over time and prevent it from reforming.
Same with Candida in the gut.
Daily gut hygiene.
Over time you can scrub it and prevent it reforming as a plaque but it takes persistence and good habits

true of everything Little Caesar's. The secret, legitimately, is to crisp the hot n readies up in the oven, or a convection toaster oven or something, just to finish it up. never done it with the crazy bread though.

I volunteer at a needle exchange and I've met a ton of people who develop sweet tooths as a result of opioid addiction. Even when they get sober, the cravings for sweets are still there. I think it's a neurological thing. Maybe in your case it's crazy bread as opposed to sweets.

Yes, that's totally what doctors want.

This used to be taco bell and Baja blast for me. I would go there on my lunch to fill up on slop and the first thing I would do is poor out half my large Baja blast and replace it with about a fifth of vodka and go back to work with it. I was a newspaper reporter trying to be Hunter S. Thompson. For years I couldn't get tbell without thinking of that sweet sweet oblivion.
