They cranked their prices up to absurd levels while at the time reducing their portion sizes and quality. That's just not how business is done, even if it appears to "work" in the short term. They used to be the burger place that was basically McDonald's but tasted like it was made of real food. Was proportionally more expensive because of that but all in all was a decent place to get a very standard burger very quickly. This wasn't even all that long ago I'm talking about either. Being a kid in the early mid 00's, it was pretty much the default "cheap food" option for my buddies and I while we were out riding bikes or whatever.
It's nearly fucking inedible now and wildly fucking expensive. I've also noticed the employees always seem very fucking rude compared to other places. I don't expect anybody to dickride me at the fast food window but holy shit at least don't be a fucking cunt on purpose.
Pretty much same shit with all other fast food. Any semblance of the old pricing can only be achieved through apps and every restaurant delusionally believes that either every idiot keeps all of these apps on their phone at all times or that they're somehow the special one that people actually want. It sort of worked at first but now I just say "fuck it" and make the burger myself.
>You know how goddamn bad American fast food has to fuckup to get lazy burgers like me to cook instead?
>Absolutely insane
