I might be barking up the wrong tree here considering what kind of series this is but Issei is adorable and I want to gush about him. Feel free to post other DxD boys too.

In a perfect world they would be a couple.

I can't hate Season 4's art style because he looks super pretty in that style.

Don't know who this is or what he's from but he's prime /cm/ material.

As stated in the OP he's from Highschool DxD which if you don't know is a harem series, so he isn't overtly shown in a fanservice-y way much, but as they say there are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see.

The male characters from this series understandably don't get a lot of fanart focused on them so I greatly appreciate the people who do draw such things.

I've always thought the blonde guy was a cutie, but I never dared to watch the series, not because of its ecchi reputation, in fact, seeing big breasts isn't necessarily something I dislike, if you know what I mean. But I was worried that the blonde guy would basically be decoration and that he'd only have important lines once a season. Do those two really have chemistry?

I'm exaggerating a bit, there isn't any genuine romantic tension between them or anything but they generally have the kind of camaraderie fujos tend to latch onto like with a lot of characters in shonen manga. Though there is the fact that the author of the light novel likes to tweet out stuff like this sometimes.

I don't know if I'd call Kiba a "very minor character" as he does have his moments as well as an arc centered around him but this is a harem series after all so with the male characters aside from Issei you really have to just take what you can get, as they're naturally not going to get the most screentime.

At this point it's been long enough since s4 that I can live without getting more seasons of the anime, but the way Issei is drawn in both of the anime styles just resonates with me in a way that the LN art kind of doesn't. Maybe it's that both anime studios drew him like 10% more twinkish, I don't know.

Okay so I've been reading the light novel and I can say now that the anime is a bad adaptation so just read the LN instead. I'm not all the way through yet but Kiba gets a lot of attention in volume 12 (though I won't spoil what happens) and in the first 10 volumes there are a surprising amount of little bits between Issei and Kiba that got cut from the anime, such as this. It's obviously meant to be comedic but that won't stop me from pushing my agenda.

As I read through more of the LN I think I'm genuinely falling in love with Issei beyond just thinking he's cute/hot. When he's in good spirits it's infectious, when he's hurt physically or mentally my heart aches for him, and when he wins a particularly hard-fought battle I feel proud. He's so charming and likable that even you, the reader, are part of his harem. There's nothing wrong with me and I will not be taking my meds.

There's something so pure and attractive about the horny POV self-insert themselves becoming the sole object of desire.
It's the flipside of my never ever finding the girls in these kinds of series attractive: their designs and personalities are so try-hard and the execution is so slop that it feels like hiring a Vientiane nightclub sex worker to sit on your lap and give you compliments: their sexy personality isn't real, it's just customer service.
Same thing with the girls here, and same goes for the boys in "Free!".
The MCs are the only ones who seem to be attractive in a way that doesn't feel suffocatingly contrived

It's easy if you're gay enough. Also the anime dials up the fanservice a bit compared to the LN. Like outside of the dedicated raunchy scenes/moments (some of which I feel is trying to be more funny than sexy) there aren't constant lines about the girls breasting boobily or whatever, but the anime is kind of the visual equivalent of that.
