>>149001544>Why would anyone have any of these viewpoints beyond the one (ironically) at the far left end?Like most of culture, furry culture is heavily stratified into a political camp, in this case being left wing politics.
Traditionally left wing politics would encourage free artistic expression, support weirdos and want less morality policingโthe kind of attitude that allowed furries to exist in the first place.
BUT left wing politics does not like anime/loli, which is dominated by conservative consumers. This is due to feminist reasons but also it is very helpful to paint someone who likes loli as a unacceptable pedo.
This creates a logical contradiction, if they maintain that SOME art is evil and must never be drawn, well, that allows the squemish puritans and dramawhores in the furry community to complain about the more weird fetishes people haveโand suddenly porn of the Lion King or Sonic can get you cancelled by people who would otherwise think of themselves as progressive.
