I've often wondered if Alamo would actually be good or Budweiser-tier.

Hand and the guys seem like they would only ever drink Bud-tier cheap American factory made shit.

Anything else would be considered fancy foreign style liberal coastal city gay beer. They would probably react to a micro brewery or anything with a strong flavor the same way as a Michelin Star craft foam creation and cringe.

Hank doesn't care for foreign beer, this has been established.

I always assumed Alamo was like Lone Star. Adjunct based macro lager slop. Although I've never had Lone Star.

I wonder what Hank is drinking in Saudi Arabia, alcohol is illegal in Saudi Arabia. Even for foreigners.

Anything can be normal after normalization.

So how long is Hank supposed to have been in Saudi Arabia?

Hank was mostly a social drinker, without the alley and the guys I imagine it would be pretty easy for him to give up beer.

That's so wrong, it hurts.

Nope. I remember there is an episode of King of the Hill where Hank and Peggy tried to go on dates while sober and they didn't like it.

He was supposed to be in Saudi Arabia for several years. Although I don't know how many. If you pay attention to when Hank leaves in the theme song, you should be able to see how many seasons he was away.

I unironically agree with them. If I'm having a beer it's because I want something with more flavor than water (probably while it's hot out) or I'm having something with dinner that would go well with a beer. I don't need an entire second course added to my dinner because some uppity beer company felt like their pilsner needs to have a complex flavor profile. I like my acceptably flavorful refreshing beer that isn't overly interesting, like Sapporo or Fosters.

I enjoy Sapporo but I've never had Fosters, are they comparable?

So who's the black dude that replaced Hank in the intro? Seems like he's sticking around even after Hank and Peggy came back.
