While it would have been funny to see J jobbing to the Worker Drone crew, I can understand why they ultimately didn't go through with it in the show and had V save them from J.

Like yeah, J being a jobber is a funny joke and Uzi did kill the first instance of her before her Solver abilities fully awakened. But even with J being a jobber, I don't think it's very believable that Khan, Lizzy and Thad could have taken her on effectively. She IS a Disassembly Drone after all. Remember that the ONLY real reason Uzi initially survived in her fight against (beyond being the main character lf course) J back in the Pilot was because she unconciously deflected a bullet, with the Solver, fired by J that was going to kill her.

Filler episodes and tangential to the main story and disconnected from the rest of the episodes of a series. There's no filler episodes in MD, and it's a short series anyway.

It's not rapid fire though, it's just a goofy gag in between. You're way overexaggerating the humor, the show doesn't "rely" on it.

The Amazing Digital Circus is an example of rapid-fire humor, and it's a good example because it's a sister show. TADC is predominantly a comedy, with a couple dramatic themes. Murder Drones is a Horror-Comedy, but like I said you're way overestating the prominance of the humor. Most of it is pretty small "heh" moments, little background gags, callbacks and running jokes, etc.
It's not a thoroughly driving force of the show like you're trying to imply.

By all means you don't have to like Liam's quirky autist humor at all, but your post reads like you've only really watched the Pilot and that's the only thing that's informed your entire view of the show. Also you're just wrong, people do find it funny and charming. Or else people wouldn't like Liam at all.

Dear blog. Today I remembered that a writer can only write characters as smart as he is at best. I remembered it because I'm playing Mass Effect 3 after finishing 2 and Mordin doesn't give the impression of intellect in it. Playing the two games back to back, I really feel that the writers were swapped for inferior ones. Same with the people behind the gameplay and the level design. And man, all this woke crap in 3. And to think that 12 years later things have only gotten much worse. I pirated it and so should you. There's a ME5 in the works and I won't be paying for it either.
It was smart of Liam to not elaborate on how the patch works or how the drones and cores work, because at best he could had come up with technobabble straight out of a Marvel comicbook. Though I highly doubt he did it on purpose. He probably couldn't be bothered or didn't have room to put an explanation in the show.

As a viewer, you have enough information to inform your own thoughts to what's going on there. I think it's pretty cool. Like, we can see how the JcJenson scientists in Cabin Fever were working on the Patch Crucifix and Yeva was the first successful patching / excorcism attempt - with Nori's attempt being the one that goes terribly wrong because of the Solver fucking things up. We can see how Worker Drone AI cores work from being shown things throughout the series, and the Zombie Drones tape makes some important implications to inform our interpretations as an audience.

There's never a moment where the show needs to stop and spoonfeed the viewer with a whole bit of explaination thoroughly explaining things like above.
Some people complain about Murder Drones being confusing, and sure some people might not like being spoonfed. But I think the show's insinstance on showing and not telling is great. I don't think it's perfect but I like that Liam doesn't try to explain things like the true nature of the Absolute Solver to us and instead lets us think about it ourselves using what we are shown in the series.

Imo he did very well without being too vague either, there is enough detail that doesn't need to be said or pushed up front from which we can understand a lot, also great consistency in most technical things so we can learn based on that as well.
It's great as it is, and so far the little we got from GlitchInn about technical stuff (exclusion of CRT eyes, but that WD is outdated anyways due to no core) didn't cause inconsistencies either.
Us being able to see it work (meaning cores, what kills drones, what doesn't kill drones, who can come back from what, how AS can enter through the core etc) is good enough to build fanstuff on or even make reasonable 'canon' explanations. Him not yapping about nano smth bullshit or asspulling details of how the singularity can interact with the digital part of a drone/how the mechanism to have programming alone be in control and the core just a powersource in normal (not solver, not zombie) WDs is a good thing, too much detail and dragging in placeholder bs terms would have been bad.
Point being, the only lore we get on drone tech is in episod 5, about cores, solver influence and ZDs, all other stuff like what causes FATAL ERROR and how it can fail under circumstances is well showm by examples, (normal WD butler gets forked in face=FATAL ERROR, drops dead due to F.E. causing core failsafe to work, meanwhile we see Cyn (pre solver) and Alice both with visors smashed worse but still acting)

I'm basing my opinion on expo videos I have seen. Flat screen faces look weird because they lack depth and because we can't see their facial expressions from the side. Reading someone's face is important for our brain, which is why we naturally less trusting of people with hidden or pitch black faces.
Curved screen faces look weird because their builders insist on projecting those kinds of faces on them.
Latex human faces look weird because you know you aren't looking at a person but your brain sees a person's face. Also asians look ugly to me.
Drones have a pretty face design but the lack of mouth irl kinda hinders the end result.
