>>149174209Competency crisis. The people put in charge or weaseling their way into the executive positions on major studios and companies are clueless retards. They want power, wealth, and status first, and everything needed to wield those things doesn't matter, because they have power, wealth, and status.
Those idiots hire other idiots based on identity, optics, and nepotism. Those idiots, if they've studied anything, have done the bare minimum, and often have minimal, if any, experience in the industry they've been placed into, mostly for optics reasons. This means the veteran employees who do know what they're doing are working exponentially harder to cover for their dumbass director who doesn't know how to make a movie, or trying to piece together the retarded screenplay into a coherent plot, because they let some executive's personal child procurer become a writer-director.
And all the people who have the skills and the decades of experience to use them are being forced out, not just meaning that they can't help make movies better, but that they don't get to work with younger/newer hires and mentor them. This is an issue in EVERY industry right now. Veteran professionals getting fired, pushed out, or made to leave, and taking an untold wealth of knowledge with them, which gets passed to no one, and may never be relearned because everyone making that happen is too retarded to realize what they're losing.
