2) we don't know exactly when did her bad relationship with Jax started. we do know however that it's not Jax alone abusing her. she clearly enjoy his misery.
3) back to point "1", we can't ignore the fact that cartoons are constantly try to push a message, and it's clear in this show that the message is heavily one sided. tolerance and kindness only to one group and not the other. so don't take it too seriously.
