I'd argue that him blackmailing her into skipping her anime adventure was the worst thing we saw him do to Gangle.
In episode 4, when she was babbling in a leadup to her almost-abstraction, she stated

Her anime segment was such a dream and he forced her to undo it. If it wasn't for her gaining support network through Zooble, she would have probably abstracted mid episode 5.

Here is to hoping that - after she's off to work on future projects - TADC might eventually pull her in after a decade or so. Outlook on things and events changes with time and - while TADC of today continues to be surrounded by a constantly exploding shitstorm of fandom drama - it might seem like an easy spot to go back to after years go by.
