You're lead to assume (and I wouldnt know because Dana is a terrible fucking writer) that eventually Amity just gave up on ever wanting to be Willow's friend anymore because Boscha finally found a common ground with her which was Grudgby the perfect outlet to get all her pent up aggression towards her mom out. Then Luz came back and realized she was only leaning deep into the sunk cost but I would argue that Boscha despite her attitude is still a way better friend then Luz or Willow.

I actually unironically feel bad for Odalia. Dana gives us nothing to work with in regards to her character because all we know is that Dana has serious mother issues she refuses to acknowledge all based off of a pinch of salt rumor that she was forced to go to Catholic School.

She actively refused to give Odalia not only an actual comprehensive backstory but couldnt even be bothered to write a conclusive end to her current one. My theory on why Odalia began acting like this was because all 3 of her children share the blunt of their father's genetics and each of them has a reason to relate more to Alador then they do her.

I get that Odalia loves the finer things in life and being showered in money and status but little things dont add up. What kind of a mother remembers to make Amity her lunch every single day knowing full well she will not eat it and leaves it on the counter uneaten on purpose? You could make the argument that Alador programmed an abomination to make Lunch since the manor doesnt have actual servants but Abominations created and programmed by Odalia to avoid the actual "trad" part of being a Tradwife

I choose to believe whether out of loving desperation or outright vindictiveness towards Amity there are certain things Odalia tends to personally because all she wants to hear just once in her life from Amity is "I love you."

I refuse to believe this doesnt absolutely make Odalia furious with rage how she wants to bond with not just any of her children but Amity specifically and she was almost fucking there with Boscha. Boscha in all honesty if she were Odalia's child she'd be perfect

I think to some extent, you're correct, and if they got those 20 extra episodes, Odalia would have gotten something more to work with. It's hard not to feel bad for her in her last appearance when the rest of her family are hugging, and she just looks resigned, angry and a little upset, and just walks away.
