Sounds like a justified and legitimate reason to me. If Owl House was actually popular and good, it would have gotten a season 3, a journal, an artbook, a graphic novel, and future spinoffs like Amphibia, but you know everybody lives in reality except the Owl House jeets. All in all, it is a net benefit to human society's progress, leaving the dregs to rot in their own filth. So who cares.
