He seems to play by gag logic, as in, it would only "hurt" him if it was funny but there would be no physical damage in itself he would simply act like he was in a cast or plop a funny bandage over the injury like that would heal him but he's just playing it for laughs.

I don't think he would be able to discern actual harming intentions, he already struggles to understand what humans find funny or good so if someone really went at him with clear meaning to hurt/kill with some weapon or barehanded he would simply restrain the person and send them to their room kek. Like, what did the human think it would happen? Lil guy wouldnt -physically- punish severely unless it was in the service of Fun™

Speaking of pain, he seems very aware of the psychological trauma he inflicts upon the humans because of his adventures, even disclaiming how its all unintentional but never putting the word to make the adventures less traumatizing as is "the trauma" was some part of the experience.
It makes me wonder what his directive entails regarding adventures or if he really cares about their lives outside of keeping them intrigued so he can perpetuate his directive because it doesn't seems he has the humans' best interest or safety into consideration aside of some basice-level accomodations

He has been running for years with continuous human interaction, at first maybe he'd just poke around the rooms and see if anyone was still there hiding, maybe he'd power down and fiddle with ideas for adventures then settle into some sort of rest mode until more humans entered the server. Maybe he would make due with his own npcs to find purpose while waiting for actual humans to enter but going by how dismissive he is of them i think he would end up using them like crash test subjects

The only time we've ever really seen him close to being hurt was when he put his hand on Zooble's shoulder and she slapped it off. He pulled his hand back and held it with the other one as if it stung briefly. Now that could have just been good animation by whoever did that clip but I'd also say he can probably feel physical pain but I seriously doubt it would bother him. To him it's probably just like a status bar, like "oh that was a level 7 pain sensation, I should react accordingly". He clearly squashes and stretches his body alot and it doesn't seem to hurt. I don't know this is a fun question though.

He seems to be holding a grudge against Zooble ever since they told him his adventures suck in the 3rd episode. That anger has been building which is not something a machine should be doing so I'd say he definitely is bothered by emotional damage and it's something that's eating at him. If Zooble keeps at it I do think we're going to see a pretty impressive outburst. And actually now that I think about it I don't think any of the others have ever seen Caine as angry as he was at Zooble in this recent episode so that's going to be fun.

Thought she would have said more, but turns out she had been on a stream for 8 hours straight before running this one, so it's probably no wonder why she would cut it relatively short.

Still, it was the first TADC episode for which she has audio of her own voice. Episodes 1-4 were recorded before the pilot, so Vixen just deleted emails containing a copy of recorded takes as it was just another VA job for her. But then the pilot came out finished, she became a fan of the show and the character she had been voicing, but at that moment she could only wait until hearing herself voice Gangle in her spotlight episode.

Jax isn't bound by what's sociable, proper and respectful. Whatever goes through his head, he promptly puts into actions and words.
Intrusive thought may be something like a fleeting vision of dropping a pile of plates you're holding at the moment. It either goes away if you're confident in your impulse control, or just gets worse as you pay attention to it while trying to figure out if such a thought is your genuine intention. Jax, it would seem, works in such a way where he quickly assumes that any intrusive thought he might be having is a good idea that he clearly must execute.

Something has bothered me for a while about the pilot. Why is Ragatha awkward around Pomni at the end? She should have no way of knowing that Pomni went through the exit door at that point. Unless, she was still salty about being abandoned the first time?? But it seemed like she got over that. It's also weird that Caine gave his explanation for the exit door, when again, only Pomni had context for that.

For Ragatha acting weird I assumed it was because when she crawls up to the group everyone is just standing around doing nothing and she's like hey I'm still in excruciating pain?! Had Pomni actually treated her pain like it was important she and Caine would have gone right back to Ragatha instead of just standing there when she crawls up to the group. I think that's why she was seemling annoyed.

And I think Caine knew Pomni went through the exit door because he probably has sensors for that or when he rescued Pomni from that far out in the void he might've done a quick mental check to see how she got there and saw that she had gone through the door. I mean earlier in the episode he just explain about the all seeing eyes so I figured those are like a camera system he can just review the footage from whenever he wants.

I don't really consider these things plot holes or missing scenes, you can put together what happened or how the characters knew what they did if you actually think about it for a few seconds dude.

We're not being told and shoen every pedantic detail dude. The show would be hours and hours of boring exposition otherwise. "Oh but these things are important" No they're not. It doesn't affect the story and would add pointless time to a show that only has rounghly 22 minutes an episode. They're not going to show every minute detail so that you know how every little thing is done. Same for the timing on stuff. It's a common thing in shows and movies that viewer is supposed to assume time is passing between things on screen even when it's not shown. If the events that happened in the pilot were shown in real time it would have been hours long.

She didn't know that, for all she knew they could have been standing there for quite awhile dicking around because keep in mind that Pomni was in the Exitrooms area for a long time. Remember these events are *not happening in real time*, the show can't show the real amount of time everything takes. You need to understand this and get it through your head. Pomni was probably gone for over an hour or more. Ragatha was in so much oain and probably desperate that she started crawling to the main floor hoping to be seen by the others or maybe run across Caine herself.
I have no idea why you're so hung up on this when it's pretty clear and not that hard to explain if you think about it.

When ragatha crawled into the scene, I was actually wondering why she was there instead of a there being part where pomni and caine go back for her, or at least caine snaps his fingers and brings her there, all better. And then i was confused by how she acts awkward around pomni. Did think she pomni abandoned her, cuz why would she think that? Or was she embarrassed by how she was attacked and indirectly made pomni's first day horrble? The episode didn't tell me. I think the debate is less about whether or not they're still people if they're AI, but more about the futility of them escaping. If they're actually people then there's still a chance, however, slim, that they could get out of the game, which to me makes the fact that they're essentially permanently trapped here more impactful. If they're just brain scans then the idea of them being trapped becomes less of a plot point since this would be their entire existence and there's no real world to go back to.
