Speaking of KOTH, on other boards we've more than once come to the conclusion that if there's a character whose weight is poised to spiral out of control, it's Peggy.
Peggy is vain and arrogant, is convinced she's never wrong, and when she makes an error is prone to making excuses for her mistake and doubling down on her bad behavior rather than correcting course. She's got all the ingredients for just a little weight gain to turn into her getting immense, like a small rock rolling down a hill starting an avalanche.
She'd start by gaining a little bit of weight, and then, in an attempt to excuse her mistakes, she'd find out about the Fat Acceptance and Body Positivity movements and easily grab hold of them as a boost to her ego in response to her clothes getting tight. A little weight gain would turn into 20, 30, 50 pounds, and then from there she'd start to describe herself as a "fuller-figured woman," and conclude that she's simply a "generously-proportioned lady," and her brain would use this chicanery as an excuse for her to start indulging her rapidly-worsening sweet tooth and tendencies towards gluttony.
In no time she'd weigh over 300 pounds without losing even a little of her arrogance and vanity, and simply asserting herself as "a larger lady," and this is just what she'd always been destined to be.
And we know Hank would never say a word, he's too polite and awkward to try and stop her as long as she's not in serious danger.
