>>149408107>can't even spell Sodom>I'm expected to believe this women has ever attended any religious service at allSure. Whatever you say, ma'am.
While I admittedly don't go every week, I attend services most Sundays.
>>149408240Jesus teaches
โข compassion for others, particularly the marginalised, poor and disabled (His ministry to the hungry, the lepers, the blind and the sinners; remember, He says to the adulteress He does not conference her for her sin, a stark contrast to the legalism of the Pharisees)
โข good can come from outside the in group (the parable of the Good Samaritan)
โข to reject hypocrisy (back to the story of the adulteress, He famously tells he who is without sin to cast the first stone, not only a clear rejection of the Mosaic law that an adulteress is to be stoned to death but also to highlight the hypocrisy of those calling for it)
Current conservatism (which let's be honest, is anything but) glorifies:
โข hatred of the poor, of the disabled, of the hungry and of people they would deem sinful
โข rejection of anything and anyone not of their group
โข hypocrisy upon hypocrisy upon hypocrisy
The irony of it all is that you almost certainly are antisemitic and yet behave more like a biblical Pharisee than like Christ. You reject His teachings, you reject His grace and you reject Him and as such, both spiritually and in your very character, you are a Jew and have never been a Christian.
