Fixed has talking dog protagonists which makes it look juvenile--assuming the hand-drawn animation doesn't do that already--but its subject matter is inherently gross or inappropriate. Those raunchy live-action comedies of yesteryear had enough grounded elements to attract audiences; Fixed simply doesn't.
