Saltine is really cute. I did like Season 2 episode 1. The chase scene was the best part. The ending of the episode was cute too seeing Saltine being happy that she was going to be Rip's apprentice and do the whip thing.

I do always like these campy Indiana Jones'ey style archaeology adventures. I wish they put out more episode though. Season 1 was only 8 episodes long, and then we waited an entire 2 years for Digman season 2.

It was already bad when 10-episode seasons started becoming more commonplace, so Digman being one of those with just 8 per "season" feels so unfair. The show isn't given nearly as many chances to win people over that way. I know 22-episode seasons might be pushing it, but at least 13-15 should be achievable, right?

Campy adventure stories need episodes to make the world feel big and explore various locations. It isn't like Cyberpunk Edgerunners where 10 episodes is enough to tell a compelling story about Night City. Digman is supposed to be a globe trotting adventure, so we need to go to various different countries to tell the story.

The animation quality of Digman doesn't even warrant waiting 2 years for a few episodes. It's a fairly simple art style.

Digman is in that same niche Grimsburg fills where it's a decent new cartoon overall but lacks certain qualities needed to turn heads or stand out.

I genuinely thought it was cancelled. Its funny how the last time it aired was next to south park which went on hiatus for a year, so its like its entire existence depends on being the show after south park airs.
