>Ackshully, Chane and I are in an open relationship
Not making this up, that's an actual plot line in the KOTH reboot. Nasty bitch
>>149738541 (OP)It's not supposed to be seen as a good thing, OP. Connie even folds under her own words the minute she sees Bobby got a new girl

maybe that boy at the end might been right all along

>>149738721Nope, Bobby is actually still in love with her, and after she breaks up with Chane, they both start dating again towards the end of the season
>>149738541 (OP)Would she be into that if she knew about the lizards on her father's bed?

I never really realised how much i'd miss her.
I'd rather talk about what they did to Bill. He really did let himself go. He literally became a NEET while Hank was off working in Saudi Arabia. He FINISHED Netflix, and didn't leave his house for 5 years. I wonder if he posted on /co/ or /tv/ in that time. He seems like the type to do it.
>>149738995Blame the moldy apartment that killed Brittney Murphy
Why no mention of ladybird
>>149738541 (OP)>an open relationshipThat's stupid. And it actively just goes to show how stupid both Connie and Chane are. You don't "open" relationships. It just goes to show how mentally and emotionally insecure and immature you are. Big red flag next to Connie's awful old-lady hair length.
>>149738862lol have sex incel
>>149739020>I wonder if Bill was so much of a loser than he took to social mediaHe didn't leave his home for half a decade. Of course he used the internet as a means to connect to others. Going full isolation would make it so that everyone on the street would start smelling something funny coming from Bill's house as he would have died without anyone there to care for him or call EMTs.
This is a bad end for Bill. A pitiable, easily preventable Bad End that isn't even funny.

Bobby is the most normal person on the show now. Holy shit. Incels just seething and coping.
>>149738541 (OP)Do anyone have that shot of Bobby banging Connie?
>>149738541 (OP)I thought episode 8 implied her whole "open relationship" song and dance was just cope. Chane was the only one who really fucked around during their "relationship". It was all just an arrangement for her to satisfy her parents.
>>149740061Not yet though I think it was confirmed it will be brought up. Probably next season.
It fucking sucks man,
You'd want to forgive her but it's just a fact the more dick a girl rides the more difficult it is to pair bond

>>149740202That comes in the next season. Releases in six months to a year.
>>149740094Yeah that's not sexy or cute or hot. "Weird" implies butt stuff. Don't try to be "sexy" with someone you haven't even been intimate with, Connie. You come off like some kind of try-hard. Not everyone can will themselves into perversion. You ain't gotta lie to kick it.
>>149738541 (OP)The open relationship was presented as a bad thing, and she got together with Bobby. All was right, I loved the way the writers handled Bobby and Connie, even if other characters weren't done justice.
>>149740348That just sounds like "I will settle down with you once I am done partying and hit the wall".
I would think the first thing Hank would do upon getting re-established is getting a new Ladybid pup. He never struck me as the type to go completely pet-less.

Normal people have sex, and they don't give a shit if their partners have been with others prior.
>Commit and have some discipline and self love.I think you're too brainwashed by Hollywood stereotypes. In reality, a bad self-image does not follow from casual sex.
>>No, sorry, I need to be able to have sex without being responsible or accountable for my actions.>Pitiable.What accountability are you talking about? This is a cartoon...and even then what accountability is Conny neglecting? Is she not allowed to have casual sex?
Like I said, just because (You) can't have sex, doesn't mean that others can't.
>>149740348It's the equivalent of being asked if you're done yet in the middle of having sex. Or being told that you're a nice guy. I's a full on acknowledgement that personality wise the two of you click. But that there's something--if not in the looks department then based entirely on fear--that keeps a person from committing. It sucks to hear. It's just the next evolution of
>You're a nice guy...but...Like, I'm *marriage material* and you're still going to kick this can down the road and clown your way into becoming a cat lady for the rest of your life, Connie? Wow. Good thing to know I can't win for losing with you. Seriously you shouldn't have to "convince" your girlfriend/wife into being in a relationship with you. That sounds stupid. My fantasy is that my woman responds positively, eagerly accepts my proposal. I'd write Bobby and Connie to have something similar. Not have her in the middle of something stupid that has to be "won" by the rational Bobby exhibits.
>>149740404Men just dislike modern takes on writing with women characters and we express that opinion more openly and readily and armed with truth. Because Connie is full of crap.
>>149740531And? Still doesn't sound sexy. Ooh you're in SUUUUCCCCH a different headspace now. Wow. How freaky. You want to do "weird" things with me. Woooow. "Weird". You must either view sex as weird or doing it with me as weird to even come to that conclusion. I don't see sex as weird. I want to do what comes natural. I would hate if a woman told me she wanted to do weird things. Like--what--put on dumb leathers and use meaningless accessories like whip and clamps and turning sex into some kind of perverse game of give-and-take? No. No thank you.
>>149738541 (OP)Why does she look Native American?
>>149738759I just don't see why they would actually get together. Connie hated Chang, and Chang didn't even like her. Ted didn't like Kahn, and while Kahn liked Ted, he fucked him over numerous times and then tried to get him murdered. I figured Kahn got over it by the end of the series and didn't care about Nine Rivers anymore.
>>149740563Ok? You're not Bobbeh, that boy ain't right.
>>149740584Because Native Americans are the decedents of Asians
>>149739353I'm married, Anon. Never went for the open relationship thing or anyone that did. It's disgusting and anti-human.
>>149740532>an experimental fling?Sex isn't an experiment. it results in life. If you're in a "fling" then you're not even in the headspace to commit yourself 100% to someone and should be on your own until you can figure out what it is that you want from a partner and what you bring to a relationship.
>Normal people have sexDegenerates and people steeped in sin have sex before marriage. I don't idolize it nor place that kind of behavior on a pedestal like you do.
>You're brainwashed by Hollywood stereotypesHollywood has nothing to do with a true committed relationship. What I speak of is biblical and truth. Sex before marriage is an abomination, as all sin an abomination.
>What accountability are you talking about? The accountability of not entertaining the concept of a "open relationship"
>if she not allowed to have casual sex?She can do whatever she wants. She won't be valued or appreciated in the way that she should be if she does. She devalues herself. Whores can never be respected. Male or female.
>Like I said, sex sex sex blahYou have a pitiable view of relationships. You just keep coming at me from the perspective of sex, lust and perversion. I can't respect your argument because you have none.
>"NORMAL" PEOPLE DO ITIf "normal" people lined up jumped off a cliff I suppose you'd be right along behind them.

>Cut the autismAutism has nothing to do with expressing that a joke didn't land for me. My opinion is going to live rent-free in this thread until it 404's. Meaning I'll probably be having a conversation with you if you should you stay. Cut the name-calling hijinks. No one's looking and it doesn't impress me.
>>149740695I could argue with you, but knowing that you'll never have sex brings me enough glee not to bother.
Good luck looking for your dream girl outside of your dreams.
>>149740855I don't need luck. God has me in the wife department. I sincerely hope you reach a point where you stop projecting to yourself and to others that casual sex has some type of meaning. Or pointing out to a guy who has committed the sin of per-marital ex and doesn't want himself or others to backslide into it without acknowledging it goes against Christ and unmakes us.
>>149738541 (OP)I just don't think it makes sense for Bobby to be hung up on Connie if they never got back together and she started dating Chang. It was one thing when they were perpetually 13 and you could always assume they had only been broken up for like 9 months, at most, but Bobby met other girls he liked. There was that girl from the Boy Band concert, that girl who protested the soda machines, that older girl voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar, and I think at least one more. Plus, he never had trouble making older friends as the Kidney Boy & Hamster Girl episode showed us (and arguably to Sirloin, With Love, The Son Also Roses, The Texas Panhandler, Witches of East Arlen, Reborn To Be Wild, and even The Wedding of Bobby Hill & The Portrait of The Artist as a Young Clown) he was incredibly charismatic with both genders and people of all ages, plus the class clown and school mascot with romantic experience and hobbies and interests outside of the normal kid stuff (Prop Comedy, Cooking, and whatever his flavor of the week interests were) while also being completely on top of all the latest trends (as the Knowledge Bowl episode, and many others showed) and this was all at the ages of 12 & 13. You're telling me the time he hit high school, got his growth spurt and slimmed down from a boost of testosterone and all those mascot gymnastics while also being best buds with the star quarterback who was getting college offers IN MIDDLE SCHOOL he wouldn't at any point have hooked up with some nice Texas girl that thought he was a steal and gotten over Connie? He should be settled down with a wife, Joseph should be playing College Ball on a Native American scholarship that Dale somehow thinks he got him because of Aliens placing nanobiotic microbes in his blood to fool the genealogy people because they recognize that his bloodline needs to thrive for the coming war between the robots and invading Mongolians of 2087
>>149740919>He should be settled down with a wife,Especially considering he has his own restaurant and has always been extroverted and personable and has traditions and morals because he grew up in a household with a strong, loving Christian marriage and attended church. Bobby should definitely have his wife by now. They gave him a restaurant. May as well give him his Good End too so Connie can see how much she missed out on by having her mom divorce her dad like an idiot and how much strife has been in her life because she has no strong figure of authority to follow.
>>149739238As children Connie was portrayed as being more mature than Bobby (aside from the cheating). Now, though, Bobby is more mture than Connie.
>>149739628>a guys officeI'm starting to realize no one on /co/ lnows who Jerry Jones is even though the episode tells you multiple times.
>>149740094>she wants to peg Bobby
>>149740617Doesn't really matter if he likes her or not. As you'll come to find with men on average, he was more interested in the sex than being in a serious relationship, even admitted to that in a later episode. Connie on the other hand was likely pressured into having a relationship with him by her parents as they were trying to do in the original show. There really was no love in their relationship, it was instead an obligation to keep their parents happy.
Oh now you just wait, she'll be what costs Bobby the restaurant
You think he's gonna allow Bobby to just swoop in and steal his girl? They're gonna sell the place out from under him, he only owns 15%
Best case scenario he gets some cash in hand to try and start a new place along with an investment from Peggy
Worst case he's on the hook for 15% of the company debt because it isn't profitable yet
That cookie better be worth it
>>149741024Those walking with God will have the last laugh.
>>149741030>Connie on the other hand was likely pressured into having a relationship with him by her parentsMore like parent. Her family is divorced. Optics really don't matter anymore. So being with Chang served nothing but to I guess make her parents happy because they can get MONEY by association with the Wassanasong family. Or something equally trite I'm sure.
>>149740919and Connie should've made a shocking pivot to Julliard to choose her own fate and follow her passion for music while still ultimately pleasing her parents, eventually winding up playing violin in some lesser known orchestra while maybe doing fiddle on the side to blow off steam (alternatively, she is pursuing an MBA and if still a student is either doing a paid internship at, or if graduated, has landed a department manager/director level position at Stick Tech.)
Dale should be so deep into internet conspiracies that he thinks President Trump was assassinated in 1963 before he could successfully stop the Kennedy assassination and that the man now known as Donald Trump was grown in a laboratory as part of the Quiet, Anononymous-replacement project, more widely known as the QAnon project.
Boomhauer should be retired from the Texas Rangers with a pension and settled down with a nice, easy going wife with a relatively boring life except for the few times a month he dresses up and goes driving around in his muscle car to feel like he's still got it.
Bill should also be retired with a pension from the Army and involved in some kind of internet social group or project where he fosters animals or something and uses his barber skills to groom them. Maybe he runs a small grooming business just so he has something to look forward to and women to awkwardly flirt with (which they now take as only kind of creepy and kind of cute since he's in his 50's or so and they view him as harmless.)
Luanne should be either helping bill with the grooming business or mostly doing the Manger Babies on the side for local access television with an online store that has a small, but dedicated fanbase keeping her in a modest income. Lucky, should be well tamed after about a decade of marriage and Fatherhood and basically spend all his time running errands for Luanne and the child/bussing them around with a type of simple minded zen about the whole scenario.
>>149740979Exactly, and also because he seemed already gun-ho to settle down with Connie when they were together. The lazy, but fanservicey answer was just to have them have gotten back together offscreen in between seasons but having him still pining after her after the timeskip is ridiculous.
>>149741030But Connie wouldn't let herself get pressured into that. She's too smart and mature with too many options for that. Maybe, MAYBE a pity date out of obligation if they were still together, but DIVORCED? No, they lose all their power over her after that point.
>>149741012Nobody cares about the Cowboys, much less who owns them. As far as 99% of /co/ is concerned he's just some guy.
>>149740855>>149741024Former sex haver here. The anon you are responding to is correct. People who hookup/have FWBs are fucking degenerates of the worst degree. Not even in the "let's do some kinky shit" but more so in the fact that you're hooking up with a 19yo hot piece of blonde ass that tells you their body count is just shy of triple digits... at fucking 19.
>this is how most people are, chudI know. And it's a fucking meme that needs to die already. I fell for t and want my time back.
>>149741201Dale isn't retired even though he doesn't have a real job. He loves the Dead Bug too much to quit (same for Bounty Hunting and Gun Club.) Nancy, on the other hand is a wild card. I believe she'd get forced off the news by now due to vanity reasons, but would eventually need something to preoccupy her with all of Dale's crazy interests taking up his time. I'm not quite sure what she would be doing, but don't want it to be getting back with John Redcorn.
Kahn and Minh should still be together. They're Asian, care about each other, and are too similar to ever reach this point organically. Kahn should have some kind of nice severance package from his job that they used to eventually get a good "turnkey operation" going. Be it a car wash or small restaurant (this could actually be a fun way to explain Bobby's restaurant and keep him and Connie in each other's orbit. Bonus points for Kahn having lived to the point where he now lectures Connie about "screwing it up with Bobby Hill. It's over. He's gone.") I imagine they're mostly silent partners that spend their time doing little vacations and enjoying their golden years, but maybe a plot point could be some jackass health inspector causes problems for the restaurant that threaten Kahn and Minh's retirement so Connie has to help out by playing Bluegrass at the restaurant to draw customers back in after they get things back up to code/reveal the inspector was an idiot and get their violation overturned in order to win good faith back from their customers. Additional bonus points if the restaurant they buy used to be Sugar Foot's.
Jimmy Witcher still wanders around town spouting crazy nonsense at everyone.
G.H. should e around 10 now and Bobby has to babysit him sometimes which keeps him and Didi around. Didi I think should be mostly the same, which would be a bit poignant if she never remarried after Cotton and I think would earn a begrudging respect/place in the family from Hank.
>>149741419It's weird they got a divorce, they seemed very much in love in the original series
>>149741465maybe Kahn just kept getting fired and she had enough
>>149740532>Normal people have sex, and they don't give a shit if their partners have been with others prior.normal people have sex, and it is perfectly normal for a man to want a virgin. promiscuous people spend time around other promiscuous people and think that's normal, but the most common sexual relationship, at least in the west, is still as a result of romance.
also, you were sexually assaulted as a child. you don't have to confirm or deny, it's clear as day that you were.
>>149741419I kind of like the idea of John Redcorn eventually helping Dale with Bounty Hunting as a sneaky way to try to get closer to Joseph and Dale thinking of him as an "Indian tracker." He doesn't need to, because he's made enough money off of his children's entertainment to reitire, but he ends up having fun with Dale. It seems like it would be too complicated to juggle, but I would like to keep his wife and daughter from the one episode canon as it feels tacky and mean spirited to just write them out and not in the spirit of the show overall. Maybe there could be some kind of plot with Joseph and his Sister (and possibly Dale still thinking he's her Dad.)
I think Buck should have just recently died and left Strickland to Hank, which is what sparks his move back to Texas. Hank being retired is a fun idea, but if we're only jumping like 10 years into the future Hank is only in his 50's and I think he's one of those guys that wouldn't feel right retiring early. Seeing him finally run Strickland here and there would be fun and satisfying, plus having Buck's job gives him the freedom to leave at his leisure to pursue other plots.
I don't want Tilly to have passed away yet, though it would make sense. But while her age isn't explicitly canon, even the oldest estimates would still place her in her 80's which is doable. Maybe she could still be around even if she doesn't do much.
Possible plot point: If Laoma is still alive maybe her and Bill get together to live out the rest of her golden years at some point in the series.
>>149738995Same but I'd rather they just say she moved to the other side of the country or something than recast her or say she died in universe
>>149741487Maybe, but I don't know. They seemed like they were too much partners in crime. They had all the same wants and interests and were always completely on the same page with all their little schemes and such. Even how they wanted to raise Connie. I just don't see it happening from a storytelling point of view. The only justification is they wanted to shake things up by having a noteworthy change and that was the safest couple to divorce.
>>149741512People don't get it, they think sleeping around is victimless but it's not

>>149738995>>149740061>>149740338I think the most we get is a picture of both of them hanging up in the background of the Hill's home, but most people will miss that.
>>149741553>10 years into the future Hank is only in his 50'sBarely at that
Hank and the boys are 38 in season 1
>>149741553Oh, also Luanne's daughter (Gracie) should be a little too smart for her own good, a sweetheart, but with some bad habits she picks up from things Lucky says. I like the idea of her and G.H. having a sort of honorary sibling dynamic and frequently hanging out together as "cousins" maybe with Bobby babysitting them from time to time or them running back and forth between Bobby, Hank, and Luanne's houses. I also like the idea of Lucky and Luanne having a second baby at some point in the series and maybe Bobby having his first (though that could possibly be towards the end) and his baby and Luanne's second baby being set up to have a similar dynamic as Gracie and G.H.
>>149741244>Nobody cares about the Cowboys, much less who owns them. As far as 99% of /co/ is concerned he's just some guy.Seriously as if anyone who isn't a stupid redneck gives a shit about football.

>>149740819>Then why say itWhy have a moment where a character does something embarrassing while their normal inhibitions are gone? Gee I donโt know, comedy. Again tone down the autism.
>No. I'd laugh, personally. But this isn't funnyOf course itโs not, youโve gotten yourself worked up over it and now that youโve been shown to have misunderstood it youโre embarrassed.
>Autism has nothing to do with expressing that a joke didn't land for meYour autism is why it didnโt land.
>>149741596Exactly. I thank God I never caught anything or wound up with an unwanted kid from the few partners I had before I met my wife. And honestly, the thought that I could've been stuck in some dumb relationship that would've never went anywhere and missed my opportunity with her sickens me to my core. She's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I wish we could've given our virginities to each other and honestly think a system that promotes abstinence until marriage would've made it much easier to ignore others until I found her. Removing sex from the equation makes it a lot easier to assess someone and go: "No, I don't want to settle down with them."
>>149740094>>149738541 (OP)jesus I thought Joseph got on estrogen or something. That's Connie??
>>149738995I'm not looking forward to this and know it's going to hurt. This show means a lot to me and Luanne was always a big part of the heart of it. I really wish they had just recast her.
>>149741704Right? They did her dirty. In more ways than one.
>>149740348That's the problem with modern writers. They're trying to normalize their lifestyles and values and when you remove the personal temptation of vice from the equation and try to just show it to other people presented as a good thing it becomes obvious why it's not.
>>149741582Exactly. This sounds like a retroactive move from the writers leaning on the sensibilities of viewing the show through the lens of Connie. Too much
>Toxic parenting! That was played as straight instead of just hyperbolic for the sake of comedy as I always interpreted Connie's upbringing as.
>"Connie! You not in open relationship, you wishy washy Wendy who don't know who to get with! This gets out, and no hillbilly marry you! You end up sad kitty lady like old woman down the street. Now stop being stupid and start buttering up Hill boy! He business owner going places!"
>>149739020This is B.S., mean spirited, and lazy. Bill had plenty of episodes where he turned his life around and was just reset because of status quo. This was a perfect opportunity to workshop some kind of upgrade for him that didn't mess things up too badly.
>>149739362I could see him having a relapse/backslide during COVID that they're still trying to pull him out of, but he should have something to show for himself.

>>149739527My wife is smoking hot and literally didn't have sex for the first time until she was 21 just because she didn't meet anyone she liked and thought doing it "just to do it" was stupid.
The truth is, only sexless men and loose women like the idea of this kind of stuff because they think it will make it easier for them to get laid (men) or not be judged for what they know they shouldn't do (women) and like in your comment it lets the men pretend to be some kind of enlightened and experienced sex haver when anyone who does have sex with someone they like will tell you they pretty much immediately realize they want to just be monogamous and adding in other people just sounds gross and like a bad time.
>>149739529Hank shouldn't enjoy interacting with someone who looks like that.
>>149741780He has a home and a quiet military career and the only joke they could write for Bill is
>It just got worse. He never improved. So, like, he never went to church. Never applied himself. His one good friend leaves and Bill just degenerates. It's too easy of a punchline so I can't really appreciate it. I mean, I'm long out of "Waah I see myself too much as Bill" days but this is still a lousy way for the character to go out. Just perpetually depressed over a oneiitis that he will take to the grave with him. It's pitiable.
>>149741820it's a very common joke for Hank to make a snap judgement based on appearances only to warm to the person or thing after getting to know them.
>>149741764Thank you. Minh and Khan never should have gotten a divorce. I feel like their relationship was viewed through the lens of writers who grew up in "Connie" households and project divorce onto Connie as a means of "freedom" or release when children not living a two-parent household always always always have issues later in life. Seriously you got the tone for either parent down perfectly and would fit in nicely written with the same energy and backbone as the show has in the 00's.
>>149739871This is the only thing that makes sense, but then you still have the problem that it doesn't make any sense for her to be in a relationship with him in the first place. The ONLY way that could work, if you REALLY, REALLY wanted it to work, would be to have some kind of Punished!Connie situation where she just doesn't cut it with getting a scholarship/getting into a good school, AND her parents (who are still together) find themselves in a financial tough spot (possibly Kahn getting laid off due to overseas exporting and having to take a lesser paying job) then when confronted with astronimical student loans she knows she won't be able to pay off (because Connie is actually smart enough to do the math first) she gets pressured HARD into dating Chang so Ted can pull strings for her and her future and she hates herself for it. (Even then, though, I think Connie would be smart enough to do something else and find a good way to make money.)
>>149740094Look how they massacred our girl. She WOULD NEVER say this. Even if she felt this way, she would have a cuter and classier way of broaching the subject.
>>149740353>>149741028Knowing the writers, possibly, though it could just mean general kink stuff.
>>149738541 (OP)I mean, she was a bit of a whore even in the original. I'm not sure how this surprises anybody.
>>149741885>Look how they massacred our girl. She WOULD NEVER say this. Even if she felt this way, she would have a cuter and classier way of broaching the subject.I'm one of the bigger Kahn Jr haters, but even I have to defend her here: She was on VERY STRONG pain killers (possibly morphine). Have you ever interacted with someone on them? They say REALLY crazy shit.
>>149741885>Even if she felt this way, she would have a cuter and classier way of broaching the subject.Bless you. That's exactly what I meant. Like...general kink stuff? Connie would find a way cuter, intimate way to get her point across that touches Bobby personally. Something nerdy but only he could get. Something only between two long, loving friends who are episodes away from promising themselves to one another for eternity.
>>149741869there's a lot to be said for inertia. It's hard to end a relationship you've been in for a while, even if he's a cheating dickhole. And honestly, the divorce could just as much give her MORE reason to stay with him to keep her parents happy, as now the pressure is coming from two fronts, and she feels some level of responsibility towards pleasing them during a difficult situation.
>>149740339Anon, take a good, hard look in the mirror. Is this what you want for yourself? This perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with "Open Relationships"
> 1. You're not even in love> 2. You're not even hooking up with other people, you're wasting money on prostitutes and ones that have a 50% chance of having a transmissible case of genital herpes> 3. You're coping hard> 4. Imagine if you do meet your right partner. How is she going to feel to if you have to explain having some weird side girl/blowing up what's supposedly an established relationship to get with her, not to mention all of the whores and possible STDs you'll catch? And that's without factoring in an accidental pregnancy along the way.
>>149741930Anon, honey, I don't think he was serious.
>>149738541 (OP)>shitty new voice>divorced>daughter is a poly slut What compelled them to so viciously eviscerate him this season?
>>149741512>normal people have sex, and it is perfectly normal for a man to want a virgin. Is it? Is sex drive not evolutionary conditioned?
>promiscuous people spend time around other promiscuous people and think that's normal, but the most common sexual relationship, at least in the west, is still as a result of romance.Casual relationships can be romantic.
>also, you were sexually assaulted as a child. you don't have to confirm or deny, it's clear as day that you were. You shouldn't have added this, it betrays the fact that you're angry with me.
>>149740345You can get away with it if you're an owner.
>>149738541 (OP)When a woman says "open relationship" it means she knows her BF is sleeping around while she's sleeping alone.
>>149740383That would be in-character for them. Possibly weird to write around, but they are totally the type that always need a little pet as a surrogate child.
>>149741958Or she's been across the aisle with "bicurious" or is using it as an excuse to keep her ex in her life while it's the boyfriend who nervously smiles and wishes he has more respect for himself to not be comfortable with situation that doesn't honor or treasure him.
>Connie has 100% been in at least one College gangbang
>>149740563> Men just dislike modern takes on writing with women characters and we express that opinion more openly and readily and armed with truth.This. It's been over a decade at this point and they think they can keep relying on the old: "Incel! No one agrees with you!" schtick.
This is an obvious problem most everyone agrees on and there's a plethora of examples of how to do it properly (since their fallback when the first trick doesn't work is to facetiously insist there's no other possible way to write the character.)
>>149739353You first tumblrina
>>149741885She was high on meds. It happens.
>>149740633That's a theory not an actually proven thing.
>>149740695Based take, Anon
>>149740855You guys always get real mad when you find out we're married.
>>149739020This man managed to woo fucking Ann Richards. He could be a ladies man, he could get swole he could literally be a chad if he wanted to and do they ever throw the poor man a bone? No. Like at this point its just cruel.
>>149741962Well said, anon.
>>149741941Potential redemption arc maybe which could also kick Bill in the ass and get him to shape up to. Kahn's in Bill's place now. If he ends up pulling himself back up, then Bill no longer has any excuse from his view
>>149741977No, because then Chane would be the one bringing up the "open relationship". It's a passive aggressive way of implying that the person you're with is a piece of shit.
>>149741349>shy of triple digits... at fucking 19Kids stuff. I once met a 24 year old girl that told me she fucked five different guys a week off Tinder on average. Assuming she started this at 18 her "body count" was easily 1,820 men, if not more.
The hookup culture experiment has been tried, and failed. It's time to end it.
>>149742014>That's a theory not an actually proven thing. It's a theory with a lot of strong support. Regardless and more to the original point: American Indians do have a tendency to look Asian whether or not you believe they crossed the Bering Strait.
It's crazy that anyone is actually excited for a reboot of a mid cartoon that ended 15 years ago. Nostalgia is poison for the soul.
>>149741633Yeah, I know, but it depends on what Judge is allowed to do. He always wanted Hank and Peggy to be 46, but the network thought that was too old and wanted them to be 38 so he just agreed to what the network said then told everyone Hank was actually 46 and to write him that way while trying their best to avoid ever explicitly bringing it up.
>>149742069Oh I'm sorry I was using a hypothetical woman as an example in my post not Connie specifically. Connie is just...confused right now. I don't think she's a piece of trash though she is engaging in a trashy practice that only gets respect from men or women who believe in their hearts that they were never enough to satisfy their partner to begin with. Which is awful--playing a person's insecurity like that. There's no such thing as a "open" relationship. It's just "I get to have my cake with you AND share it with anyone I want!" Disrespectful behavior. Utterly selfish and repugnant and incredibly teenage in mentality. Just immature all the way around.
>>149742126it doesn't even seem like she's engaging in it. Just trying to put a more acceptable spin on her boyfriend sleeping around.
>>149741798Enter: Mr. Hello.
>>149742110Amen. You can say that again. I'm literally typing this and poisoning myself with an indica vape. Why? Because I got two seconds into this sequel or whatever and the first joke they want to throw at me is Peggy screaming about Hank's narrow urethra to a crowd of people. Not the best opener but
>I wAnT iT tO bE gOoD!If this isn't good sober then why on God's green Earth should I be chasing a high to make myself laugh at it!?
>>149742126I don't even think she's doing it either. Maybe there will be an episode that heavily implies her taking part in it or something but as of now it just sounds like she was trying to word her arrangement with Chane in a way that seemed 'empowering' to herself
>>149741824I can see how if I was different or some horrible tragedy struck me I could end up Bill-like, but thankfully that's something that's off the table for me and I still think it's dumb. Bill, while he has his frustrating or creepy moments played for comedy, is a good guy with a good heart and a lot of potential as was shown MULTIPLE times. He was always getting his act together, then the writers decided they didn't want to mess with the formula and changed it back (the Laoma episode, the Anne Richards episode, the tank episode, the bodybuilder episode, the hair salon episode, even the Louisiana episode), but this was just low hanging fruit. They could have at least TRIED to do something with him.
Not to toot my own horn, but I think my idea above about the groomers could be a good plot for him. Have him not a mess, but still a little lonely and trying to figure things out. Then Laoma comes in and he finally gets his person. It really wouldn't change things that much for him. He could still be fat and have bad habits. A lot of episodes don't even focus on Bill having a bad life situation he's just sort of there rounding out the group and letting everyone bounce off his personality. Giving him a partner at some point wouldn't mess things up too much.
>>149741846I just don't see it. I've met too many people like that, I can't imagine how they would sync up on an ongoing basis.
>>149741913Yes, exactly!
>>149741934You would be shocked, and appalled, Anon.
>>149742137>>149742167And I like that take. She's a smart girl. I would hope and pray she didn't give her virginity to Chang. He would be, like, actively pursuing other women just to make up for Connie's chasteness. That's what I would write. I don't want Connie to be a whore or go through a phase where she bags bodies. Just be confused for a spell and then reunite with her first love. Even though he's technically tainted by having slept with one other person. Why? Because that's the double standard of the male power fantasy/narrative in which this show and the topic of men and women in general are ever perceived: from the masculine. And this situation kinda mimics my own so I'm rooting for the best possible ending.
But that's not interesting to talk about nor the focus of the topic.
Bobby has been too perfect as a character, so inorder to give him a flaw, they give him 3 batshit gal pals
>>149742232it's no different from Hank being doubtful about the co-op grocery store at first then coming to love it (even though he inadvertently fucked it up)
>>149742093I don't wanna get side tracked here, but I will say I went down a rabbit hole with this once and found a lot of the "supporting evidence" is cyclical in the sense that it's all based on the premise that the land bridge theory is true.
Ugh, not Mike Judge... No, not him too..! How could such a patriotic American stoop so low?
>>149742110King of the Hill is amazing and I rewatch the entire thing every 3-5 years or so. It's the only show I never got tired of seeing reruns of in syndication and the one I always wished had gotten more, plus the one I feel the strongest about/have the most opinions on (I have an entire tirade about the abandoned Luanne in college and Hank and Peggy trying for another baby arcs) If there was any show that deserved to come back it's this one.
>>149742232>I just don't see it.I don't either. If anything through talking with Hank she should adopt a better haircut, take the color out of her hair and remove her piercings. Why would Hank be happy to see his son hanging around someone who presents herself as always wanting attention--whether she gets it from Bobby or not? Her presentation is a redflag for any concerned parent. Dying your hair is insecurity. You don't want to be yourself you want to be "someone else". The side of hair being shaved tells me you're dramatic and will sever relationships. I mean you mutilated your hair. Your presentation is entirely uneven. How can I trust that you have sound judgment? And then the piercings. On top of the dye it's not biblical. A septum piercing in particular in the nose? Reminds me of a bull. I don't want an aggressive woman influencing my son. Bobby is sweet. He'd appreciate a nice, feminine, sweet woman. One who knows who she is and doesn't have to put on an identity or cut her skin to present herself as easy and open and friendly to other people.
>>149742287That's quite a bit different because that was ultimately just him being a discerning customer who wanted farm fresh ingredients in a world that was rapidly switching to industrial farm products and GMOs. It's as conservative of him as wanting to drink Raw Milk.
Making friends with a granola girl that shits on people's desks is a hard sell.
>>149742335Exactly. If anything Bobby should get with a girl like Jordan.
>>149742336He literally made friends with a bunch of granola munching hippies at the co-op. The shitting on desks thing is a bridge too far, yes, but it's not like that's a character flaw that would immediately present itself.
>>149738541 (OP)>TeeHee it's really great seeing you Bobby, but I'm going to go and get railed by the douchebag we knew since middle schoolIt's wild what they did with her character
>>149742387but atleast its honest
>>149742232Anon I don't want toot your own horn, but, uh...
>Beep beep! All of your ideas were fantastic! In particular I enjoyed your interpretation and presentation of Khan and Minh's dynamic in the following post! And, really, props to giving Boomhauer a deserved Good Ending. I just don't believe that he would find his happiness with a divorced woman and raising another man's son. That sounds like the absolute worst case scenario for Boomhauer and no one's idea of a Good End. I know a guy who got into a relationship and had children with a lady who was divorced. Now they're divorced but living in the same home with a step-son he can't discipline and whom doesn't respect him. Like...augh. If you don't have a joke to tell then why wouldn't you just give Good Ends to your characters...? It seems foul to have then just be low-hanging fruit dangling in the foreground and here's the joke it's coming 3 2 1 heeeeyy Bill is pathetic. Yay.
>>149741708Yeah, I agree they should have recast. The only thing I saw Judge say about Luanne in an interview is to explain that in the original show they already reduced her role due to Brittany Murphyโs availability. I will always feel like he doesnโt really like the character (who was Danielsโ idea), but in any case they should have acknowledged her existence.
In general my biggest beef with the revival is how all the broad comedy side of the show has been downplayed. Thatโs partly because most of the characters whose VAs are dead or recast happened to be the broadest (Luanne, Dale, Kahn, Cotton) but Judge seems to prefer the gentle realistic side of the show and was known not to like wackier ideas like Bill stealing a tank.
People forget that when the show was in its prime there were a lot of wacky stories like Hank accidentally becoming a 70s stereotype pimp or buying crack to use as fish bait or the whole firefighter episode, which was KotH showing they could do a crazy slapstick episode if they wanted. That made for variety and helped the more realistic episodes by contrast.
We need more of that in the mix and weโll never get it no matter how long the revival runs.
>>149742387Seems in-character to me
Wait, they dropped the whole season? I thought it was gonna be broadcasted week by week. What are the Connie related episodes?
>>149742253>I would hope and pray she didn't give her virginity to ChaneIt is very heavily implied that they have already had sex.
>>149742315Do you agree that Kahn Jr is a faithless whore? Remember, she cheated on Bobby twice and the second time, had the audacity to try and make herself the victim.
>>149742110>Doesn't know what reboot meansYour opinion is probably worthless.
>>149742292Regardless, they still generally look Asian so it would make sense why a tanned Asian would look like an American Indian.
>>149742781Connie. Nose rings are a major turn off for me
>>149742767It's 10 episodes and it's one cohesive story, so I'd recommend watching them in order. That said, episodes 6, 9 and 10 off the top of my head.
>>149739529Bobby is into asian girls, nothing wrong with that.
>>149742781Connie. I don't like her haircut but it can always grow back. Look at her presentation! Simple, effective, nice color on the necklace. Not complicated. Connie is humble. Now look at how tryhard the girl on the right is. She NEEDS attention on her. Everything about her presentation screams "look at me". She wants eyes on her constantly. A necklace AND a pendant? The hair style, color and piercing wasn't enough so she has to make sure that her sure is tight, too. Tie it up at the bottom so that it hugs her figure and either shows off how thin she is or brings attention to her chest. Or maybe her hiking it up means it's not hiding her butt. Either way her entire presentation is insincere and her entire identity is fake. You wouldn't commit to a woman who presents herself like that unless you're in the same headspace to where you hide your insecurity behind hair guy, piercings and needless accessories.
>>149738541 (OP)>>149740094>>149742781Im only on episode 4 but I cant stop looking at Connies lips everytime shes on screen. I want her to take her plump soft brown lips and work my cock and balls over slowly and passionately. I want to have her make me cum by just sucking and massaging my balls with her lips and make me shoot cum that runs down my cock and onto her mouth and lips to which she then proceeds to clean up whatever is left on my genitals.
>>149739020It would've been much better if his life improved drastically without Hank, only to have it go back to shit the moment he comes back. That way the writers still get their butt monkey and he actually has something to work towards thoughout the new series.
>Grilled mackerel with a side of mustard pretzel
Interesting combination. I would've gotten some fries, though. Pretzels aren't a "side". They're a snack.
>>149742979>sees his best friend from childhood>degenerates and dies inside, his success burning to ashesGotta say: I'm not a fan of this combination you've come up with, anon.
>>149742979That wouldn't really make sense though. Bill has had plenty of good things going for him or great opportunities. He just always ends up either throwing it away, becoming an asshole, or fucking himself over. The only one where he got screwed over by the plot was with Kahn's mom.
>>149742979Is it character growth that he threw his wedding album into the fire?
That has to be more meaningful than a throwaway gag, right?
>>149743113In the Season 13 finale, there's a deleted scene of Bill finally throwing away a piece of his wedding cake he had in his freezer. I think this was them making up for that deleted scene, so I'd count it as character growth that was originally intended to happen in S13 but never did.
>>149738541 (OP)And everyone gives her shit for it then healthy peer pressure has her realize how dumb it is & stopsn
>>149742376He begrudgingly tolerated them for the food, I wouldn't call them friends.
>>149738862Because the โopen relationshipโ thing is sometimes the idea of the guy. He wants to have a steady fuck partner but also have the ability to fuck around without her getting mad. I actually know a guy that tried to convince a girl to go into an open relationship for exactly that reason.
Of course, the idea is that the guy can fuck around but the girl doesnโt. Like, sheโs in the open relationship but they donโt actually show her with any other guy (though she COULD have been seeing one when she first ran into Bobbyโฆ but they donโt show who she was there to see) but Chang or hanging out with Bobby. Her being in an โopen relationshipโ for her is just cope. She gets to tell herself that sheโs being mature and logical while the guy sheโs with is cucking her in her face. Even the hippy girl pointed out that what she was talking about was bullshit.
>>149742434Thank you, Anon! I really appreciate that. While I actually have a lot of fanon ideas for episodes I would've liked to see, and while I'm against A.I. if it ever got good enough I might be tempted to try to create my own episodes that take place at various times throughout the original run. I don't know if you'll like these, but I had some ideas for what could have been Luanne's potential arc for when she started college.
> Luanne starts a relationship with her college professor. After things go south, he tries to tank her GPA, leading Hank to have to intervene.> Buck Strickland "Adopts a Highway" leading Hank and the Strickland gang (minus Buck) to have to pick up trash along the road every Thursday. At first Hank psychs himself up about it and gives Luanne a talk about giving back to her community. Luanne then tries to sign up for some kind of environmental extra curricular at school, but ends up accidentally joining the Peace Core. Hank goes through a B plot about getting harassed by litering teenagers while Luanne is forced into boot camp. Hank eventually snaps, and almost leads a walk-off after becoming disenfranchised with the activity before news of Luanne reaches him and he has to dash off to save her possibly pulling some strings with Bill. After Luanne tells Hank she just wanted to give back to her community like him, Hank finds renewed vigor for the adopt a Highway thing and the episode ends with Hank and Luanne picking up trash along the road. (Optional: teenagers are either too embarrassed to continue littering because of Luanne or start helping out because they think she's hot.)
>>149743253> Luanne's Spring Break vacation somehow ends up getting turned into a family vacation, possibly after she brags to a frustrated Peggy about the wild time she's going to have. After the Hills all arrive at a destination Luanne's friend had in mind it turns out to be a nudist resort. Hilarity ensues. (Optional: Somehow Dale, and possibly Bill & Boomhauer or Kahn's family secretly tag along due to jealousy.)> Luanne takes a women's lib class and becomes an obnoxious feminist talking about Rape Culture and the Feitshization of black people. Eventually Hank straightens her out.> Luanne starts going to frat parties. Somehow Bobby somehow gets mixed up in it due to being funny and thinking the frat guys are cool.> An episode about her having to cram to study for a final with comical distractions as a B plot, possible A plot if it's an episode where she deals with taking Adderall to help her study.
>>149743283> After recapping the story of Noah's Ark on an episode of the Manger Babies Luanne comes across a group of students handing out Rainbow pins at school and eagerly asks for one. After a comically worded exchange results in a misunderstanding, she gets invited to an LGBT support group on campus. Luanne tries to explain the situation, but due to social pressure and desperate lesbians, she somehow gets convinced that she's gay and begins being very in your face about it and leading protests around campus. When the Dean refuses to endorse/condemn some such nonsense, Luanne winds up getting talked into breaking into the school after hours for some kind of major vandalism and almost gets arrested. Hank rushes to her rescue and they have a heart to heart where Luanne reveals she mostly just liked wearing the "pretty, pretty pins", and "getting all sorts of attention" and "never being in the wrong because I was an oppressed minority." Hank sneaks her out of the school and things go back to normal with (possible mini-arc with her quitting the Manger Babies because "she's gay" then coming back to them at the end.)> Some kind of second Manger Babies episode> Luanne goes to a student tutor session at the college to get her grades up, and all the other student tutors think she's ridiculously hot which leads to them pulling some strings for her so she can get a job being a tutor for extra cash. Due to her grades suffering she ends up giving a shocking amount of students bad information leading to a slew of failed midterms and a giant scandal which Hank has to straighten out with the Dean.
>>149739628So, youโre telling us that sheโs crazy. That only makes her more appealing not less.
>>149742707I agree with your assessment. Which sucks. I get it's his show and he has the opportunity, but at this point he should know it's been 13 seasons and she's been in every one of them. You can't just sideline her and not upset people. Especially when she was such a big part of the show.
I also agree about the balnace of down to Earth and wackiness. One of the things I love about KotH is that it can have an episode like: "Hank finds a new restaurant he likes, but doesn't care for how crowded it is. What will he do? Oh, yeah! Order takeout and eat it in his truck." and then do something like the Death of Debbie Grund or Pigmyllion.
>>149742780It's easy to overlook while the show's going on, but yeah, I would say she's temperamental in hindsight. Her gravitating towards Joseph during the cave episode, the puberty episode where they kiss and try to "run away" (even if Bobby kind of grossed her out beforehand) and a couple of other things I can't quite recall. I will say if they had done an episode where they got back together and then were on good terms afterwards it could have all been overlooked as dumb kid stuff, but given the context of them never getting back together/the season 14 stuff it paints a bad light.
I just want to see Hank's brother eat at Bobby's restaurant
>>149738541 (OP)Does anyone know if Bill's gay brother Joe Bear shows up in the new seasons?
am i the only one fast forwarding through the boring parts?
>>149741977Checked
I knew a mudshark who had an "open relationship" during her college years & she was already a single mom before she she graduated high school. She was straight up whore & stayed in contact with her ex. Her ex became her betabuck. I am expecting a divorce from them in the years to come.
>>149738541 (OP)Key lesson I got from the reboot: sending your daughters to school is like sending your daughters to the Devil.
>>149743241It always backfires. Any man who is opened to the idea of an open relationship is a cuck & you can bet his women 8s fucking other men.

>>149741958More like she's sleeping around while he's sleeping around.
>>149743714Based taste, Anon. I loved thei rpseudo Father/Daughter relationship and their friendlier moments (like her telling Hank about cookie dough ice cream and them flying out to immediately buy some) it always irked me how he would eventually try to walk it back. Especially since she was such a good kid who just needed some structure, discipline, and a loving home.
Do you guys think Bobby would read/watch Dragon Ball from the very start or would he skip to the Saiyan saga?
>>149740341Man thatโs sad
>>149743943He's always been somewhat of a tsundere to her. At least he tells her he loves her (to a lesser extent) in the hurricane episode.

>>149749165Any Buddhist who says they actively worship Siddhartha Guatama as a divine being are either a liar, an idiot, or both. They revere him as a spiritual teacher and guide on how to break out of the cycle of existence, but they dont view him as an actual god. If anything, they actively acknowledge the existence of God or God's, and that enlightenment is just another path to approach Him. If anything, nirvana is a way for you to approach God on more or less equal terms, since one could argue that you've awakened to the divine nature inherent to all living beings. That may come off as blasphemy to some, but I'd argue a God that is completely unapproachable isn't one worthy of worship to begin with

>>149750336>The series in your pic just matches Jesus and Buddha through basic attributes like being divine and niceWhich speaks to the ignorance of the creator. And what's worse is that people will eat of this person's fruit (this comic series) and come away with the same grand delusion--that Jesus and moreorless "equal" with these lesser deities in other religions. This is the kind of stuff that needs to be repented and turn away from. So that the fruit you can produce can be of the kingdom. Spiritually edifying and uplifting as opposed to content which will only serve to confuse the masses. I remember watching a NDI on YouTube where man was saying he saw a woman being judged by God by her social media post. >>149738541 (OP)What I don't understand about Connie being a slut is...
Connie was from a traditional country. She moved to a traditional state in the United States since she was young. Her mother and father are obviously traditional in mentality and stayed together to give her a normal rearing.
How the fuck did Connie become a shitty liberal slut? You expect this in Metropolitican cities like Los Angeles but not full blown states like Texas where normal traditional values are common. And before you say Luanne she's an exaggerated trailer trash idiot. Connie is often presented as having sense especially when she explained how she would choose to have sex in the future. Connie becoming a slut feels like a shitty writer got her hands on the character and simply ruined her. That's it. Bunch of shitty people wanting to transform the character into them.
>>149739028I thought it had something to do with her diabetes?
>>149742387She's still a woman and women like bastards who treat them badly. They are attracted to that and when the relationship fizzles out? >>149750495Are you autistic.
>>149738995I don't miss Luanne because knowing modern writers especially the creator of King of the Hill he would continue with Luanne being an idiot who happily got impregnated and married a bum. I don't care how justify it, that is a horrible idea and if you do it, it should logically end the way it should with Luanne being brought down due to her bad decisions in life.
And I know Judge would never approve of something bad happening to little miss idiot snowflake. So I don't miss Luanne and her coddle treatment bullshit. That episode with Luanne being shielded from realizing her father was a criminal makes so angry. The show also doesn't want to admit Lucky is shit. So good riddance to this frankly awful character.
Whenever I rewatch the show I skip all her episodes since I know they are a waste of time.

>>149738862I was once the other guy, never met her actual BF. Probably the best most stable "relationship" I had ever been in. >>149738541 (OP)There needs to be an episode where Bobby ghosts Connie as he realizes more and more how much of a slut she is and is just using him as an emotional tampon
>>149758417Yes but given what's happened in reality the realistic route for Connie is either....
She ends up wasting her youth slutting around similar to Luanne ending up as a spinster.
Or
Connie has loose sex until for whatever context ends up pregnant becoming a shitty single mother. And given her Asian parents they will not coddle her about that. Asians really make it clear that Single Mothers are seen as irresponsible societal gutter trash.
Given this is a Shitty American Cartoon what the writers will do with Connie if she does end up pregnant is she will find a Beta Bucks Loser Simp who will foot the bill for her even though that's unrealistic in modern day. Ten years ago it was realistic by now the number of simps has gone WAY DOWN. Connie either ens up a miserable spinster coping with a career or a struggling single mother who will never catch a break. Because I'm telling you now Connie is NOT the type to tolerate a Lucky situation. Hell no, given how intelligent Connie is compared to Luanne we know Connie as a single mother will knowingly feel the strain and stress of Single Motherhood especially with Minh and Khan not going easy on her.
No matter what happens to Connie she has a rough future ahead of her. It will be Bad Writing if she gets a bailout.
>>149759527NTA but I have a feeling on Bobby's side he is going to eventually propose to her depending on how long the nu run lasts and assuming she isn't obviously slutting around with others while with him.
