It's getting late for me so instead of joining now I'll just say it here.

The most obvious fault of Aspectism is the lack of knowledge of how each class truly is and the full scope of each aspect.

I am of the opinion that while the only aspects there are are the 12 we were given, there are quite possibly a number of other classes that could exist. The Lord and Muse classes are an example of surprise classes. Hell even I have a few idea of classes that could reasonably exist. So that's one possible fault.


There are also the aspects. While we got soem good details about them there are still just a number of things we don't know, and we'll probably never know due to Hussie and the fact that there'd be so many arguments there we'd lose the point.

Still seems fun tho.

ironically, i feel like over the years i've realized the worst things about HS are the things that aren't in it. the ending is the most obvious example of this, but i also feel we deserved more Kanaya and Terezi for example. they both fall off so hard after act 5. Rose and Roxy also deserve more screentime, too. there was so much to cover that the story just got too bloated for its own good and resulted in characters being out of the spotlight for way too long

Honestly I only got into homestuck fairly recently, I'm a zoomer, 2005 born, so I wasn't old enough to really remember HS at it's peak. I remember an older cousin of mine showing me You Can't Fight The Homestuck though. I only got into the webcomic around 2022-2023 and I'm fucking hooked forever now. I've at least intergrated in with you oldstucks but god I don't want to know what the nustuck fandom that's gonna be all zoomers who get into this because of the show is like. I do have a few friends who are into indie animation already who are considering watching the pilot when it's out and I'll try my best to make sure they don't get too retarded about it at least.

i've heard a lot of zoomers talk about how weird it is getting into it in recent years. it was weird getting into it at its peak tho too. I'd avoided it like the plague due to the reputation if the fanbase, but when the kickstarter happened i got curious to see what the whole thing was about and wound up reading it and donating. i didn't really know anyone else who was into it, so my interactions with people abt it were almost exclusivly online. i was never a big convention-going person, but went to a comic con in 2012 as Dave Strider at age 19 and had at least several people ask for my picture and hung out with a bunch of other people who were into it that day. Not long after i got into it the hiatuses started and kept happening, and it killed the momentum for a lot of people. seemed like many just never came back & finished after the gigapause or omegapause

tl;dr: it's always been weird, and you're definitely gonna have plenty of opportunity to be 'a part of it all' now or whatever now that the animation is coming
