The writing is just so bad. The trolls range from ehhh to okay and their quirks are nigh unreadable sometimes. You know how Hivebent is like super abridged and we only see the important moments? It's because Hussie realised that doing acts 1-4 again with 12 characters who all talk in some kind of leet would be UNBEARABLE. And it's true, as proven by Vast Error. They never shut up, they never say anything of value, it's genuine torture to read sometimes. Also all the animals look like they've been drawn by a furry. Like you can just tell. There are some fun new ideas but it mostly just feels like a derivative worst-of hivebent

Meenah is Objectively a terrible leader. She can get shit done, even lead an army in a battle but that's all she can do, at least in any way that's stable. Still Karakt admires both versions of her for that even though that'd get him killed. She's the warrior he wants to be.

While Karkat is Meenah's ideal subject/warrior. She admires next to everything about him, even his own leadership abilities. But if she were in charge he'd very much only survive via a miracle. And if he were I charge he'd more than likely create a world more akin to Beforus, not as bad as it but closer to that in kindness. honestly I don't even know. when I first started getting into homestuck I looked up to him and wanted to write just as magnetically as he could. then he went off the deep end in a lot of ways
