Well I just watched it and it honestly was fucking good. Better than my hery low expectations. The plot was straight forward and formulaic Hangover style setup but competantly executed to move the story from set piece to set piece. It didn't beat you over the head with it's themes, and many of the jokes landed. Maybe put the phone down if very basic character arcs are too hard for you to follow.

The real crime is that Fixed just isn't very funny or interesting. Ralph Bakshi did it better, Fritz the Cat and Heavy traffic were much more intense animated adult films. Those even got X ratings. But they also had better jokes, and had substantive commentary and meaning behind it.

I doubt a movie this naturally divisive will ever have a "verdict". I thought it was mediocre. The jokes are lame and largely rely on shock humor, but it doesn't really go all-out on shock humor. It's more like Family Guy/Robot chicken level shock humor that's the funniest thing ever if you're 17 and penis fuck words are really funny. But even Vivziepop is more appealing in that regard, because the characters in her shows are sexy. The voice acting was good and the animation was good. LS Mark is both a retard and a cuck, but this is a fair enough take. It reminds me of the anime film Midori: a 90s low-budget affair made over the course of 5 or so years by one guy. And then I saw the trailer. I didn’t even go out of my way to look it up, it popped up organically on my facebook feed and I stopped to watch it because I’ve been interested. And it is a bad trailer, and it is cringe. It was a clip of a series of some bad jokes that maybe I could have tolerated watching in the middle of a movie after I was already sorta invested, but they really weren’t selling it. And then it went out of its way to end on a really long drawn out cringey awkward joke about dogs eating shit. That was the lasting impression the people who made that trailer wanted me to walk away with. And now I’m less interested in the movie than ever.

Even if a trailer doesn’t land, it really shouldn’t actively discourage people from watching the movie proper. It’s normal to suggest people watch a trailer to get a feel for a movie, because trailers are actively supposed to highlight some of the most interesting parts of a movie to get people to invest the time to watch the whole thing. It’s a bad sign when the best they could do is a really shitty trailer. It’s usually not fair to ask somebody to watch a whole movie in spite of its trailer being bad when the whole function of a trailer is to represent why you should watch the movie.

Molasses and Honey felt interchangable. Aside from their similar looks, both of them had "sexually aggressive" as their primary character trait.
The idea seemed to be that Bull wanted Honey because they had been best friends since childhood. But the movie failed at doing the "sweet pure girl from next door vs. slutty dog prostitute" thing. Honey acts too dirty to play her role. Molasses doesn't seem any worse than her.
Only at the very end, Bull and Honey actually mention the interactions that they had bonded over. But the way they do it ends up kinda violating the "show, don't tell" rule. The movie should've showed Bull and Honey actually spending together some cute times without any sexually charged moments.

It doesn't help that Bull looks like the dog version of the ugly bastard from hentai manga. He's a fat gross mutt who fucks old ladies. His personality isn't exactly charming, either. But I get the “random scenes put together” criticism. I can see the overarching story and conflict, but the movie feels kinda like a mini series that was edited into a feature film. Instead of scenes bleeding into one another as a cohesive whole, it feels like it’s cut up into a series of successive “chapters.” I feel like I could point to scene transitions where they made room for a commercial break.
