South Park had a great episode to start the season off but the second one was mid and this one felt even worse, it felt like the plot was going nowhere for most of it, you’d think that with an extra week to make an episode they’d have a higher storytelling quality or something.

There's layers to the joke but the core is basically the tech industry is full of druggies to the point where its just open now. Usually the pill popping and other drugs that aren't obvious and often times, coming up with newer and more casual ways to inject them into you without both looking bad and turning the user into a messed up zombie. The reason its so big is in places like Silicon Vally is because they don't have regular drug tests and screenings for those office jobs so they can be a high as they want on the job.

Episode was passible I guess, not all that funny outside a few chuckles, but as far as Randy episodes go it wasn't too annoying. Biggest takeaway is that Tegridy seems to finally be over, as they seem to be trying to move back to some kind of status quo (what with Garrison back to being a gay teacher instead of the president).
A few nitpicks with the episode, they made a big deal and had a break out sequence of acquiring their one mexican, only to not do anything with him. Not sure if that was supposed to be the joke, but it felt like there wasn't any pay off to that. Also, they set up Satan using ChatGPT to escape TrumpSaddam, but never followed through with that just having him feeling defeated again. Unless that's supposed to be setting up an arc for future episodes.

Instead of sticking Garrison back there, they decided to do something fresher and went with the Saddam angle. And it's worked well for them. There was absolutely no ambiguity that Garrison trump was trump, so the fact one uses a picture of his face doesn't actually make much of a difference as to how he's parodied. It might hit harder trump himself hence why he was angry about it, but that's not Matt and Trey's problem.

Like two days before this episode hit I saw a clip of Towelie's first introduction and I had literally forgotten how, in freaking 2001, he was first introduced by essentially always offering the boys' the means to get high. I mean the episode ends with all of them laughing at him and Cartman stating that he's the worst character ever to which he readily agrees.

In I think Stick of Truth Towelie's primary thing is his continuation from S14 where essentially he's performing oral tricks for heavier hitting drugs. Crack and crystal meth. He's always just been a tremendous loser of a character. I just never saw it because I wanted to laugh at him. I was like 12 when first introduced to him so I had something of a soft spot. There is nothing innocent or cute about offering the drugs to others or corrupting yourself with it. So, yeah, this was an eyeopener for me and a sign that Towelie was always objectively just garbage. God forbid you be a stumbling block for anyone getting to Christ.
