No it wasn't, if anything it's the primary reason it's ratings plummeted across the board. TTGO's ratings saw a steep decline after season 4, where it struggled to hit half a million views and only got worse from there. It's also when CN decided to go whole hog on spamming it 24/7, which only further drove people away. It literally killed the network like a cancer.

Adventure Time was what really carried CN up until its final gasps.

DC shitting on the Titans mostly comes from Didio, who is a fan of satellite era Justice League. So he has a disdain for most of their legacy characters because he believes they make those JL members old.

And in general DC spent most of the 00s hammering in the generation aspect of the DCU, where JSA is the old guard the JL respects, JL are the big dogs, the Titans (Dick's gen/NTT) are the lesser version of the JL, and the Teen Titans (Tim's gen/YJ) are either the lesser versions of the Titans or the up and comers with potential. So now pretty much every editor and writer thinks Titans and Teen Titans are just Justice League Jr, which means they can't outshine the JL in any way, so they don't get any good writers or direction.

the comic had kid flash and wonder girl as main characters, but TT2003 kept them out so that they could keep the cast at a more manageable number
also because GO is japanese for 5, and the theme song requires counting up to 4 then saying go
it doesnt help that wonder girl had her rights tied up at the moment, so they couldnt use her anyways

trigon, the judas contract, their origin fighting green lizardmen transporting starfire, and the HIVE are all straight out of the new teen titans
though a lot of their villains-of-the-week like mad mod were actually from the earlier sidekick teen titans

reminder that every show is made by dozens of writers and some of them will move on to make stuff you like. Shows are as funny as the people writing them are, and TTGO in particular is used to test new talent so most animation writers that started after it wrote for it.

DC has this issue where they don't expect writers to know anything about a character that doesn't sell blockbusters. Even supposed A listers like arts of the flash family o green lantern corps will become new people using the face of someone you knew. That's the DC way. BUT, from time to time you get a writer that actually wanted to do the dream job he got and you get pretty nice stuff. You just need to read what's good and ignore the bad.

Wolfman repeatedly had Kory being on par with Donna (who says that at that point she had only been beaten by Diana) and when she meets other amazons they’re in awe of her abilities.
And in general her character outside of being Dick’s cocksleeve was learning earth’s customs, including learning to restrain herself from senseless violence.

The franchise will forever suck because they’re stuck on a shit lineup that only worked in a cartoon years ago and the characters are perpetually stuck in teen form.

They need to take them back to their Young Adult roots where they eventually grew out of making their entire lives revolve around being Superheros.

Donna Troy being a mother with a non super powered boyfriend was good.

Raven and Starfire hanging out as young adults was good.

Cyborg doing his own thing and helping kids with disabilities along his girlfriend Sarah that was a teacher was good.

Beast Boy and Raven being perpetual teenagers is garbage.

Cyborg being this hyper cybernetic being with a boom tube in his chest that only acts as a fucking teleporter for the Justice League sucks ass. Use Red Tornado for that shit.
