I gotta say: not a big fan of this 9 panel grid full of closeups that the artist is so fond of. I guess it doesn't help that the emotions are rather muted (which is kind of bad if you're gonna have so many closeups) and that my brain can't help but notice the abundance of low angle shots that I find off-putting in this artsyle for some reason.

Also it's probably like the third time in this run that we've been hit with multiple pages of this style covering whole scenes. It's not a deal breaker but it sure is distracting.

This is a combo of decompression which we all know is part of the problem, and Hickman not trying his hardest to get rid of loose dialogue and paring down the ideas to the essentials so he has more room to add in extra character scenes or action scenes rather than having the characters appear smart by having them list all the possibilities of a situation and what their next keikaku is. I'd rather have a scene of Richard and May playing with a web shooter and discussing something else than that tease of Jonah's drama. That could have been done quicker alongside the dinner scene having more substance.
Who knows. Maybe Hickman leaves and it gets better or it gets astronomically worse. We'll see.

Ok. let's be real for a second. What the actual fuck is the point of May? She contributes nothing to the story except for her early interactions with Spider-Man. While cute, not necessary. She contributes nothing to the plot, themes or characters. She's so pointless she disappeared for like a year with no consequences. Why add her instead of just focusing on developing Richard? I think she's a sign of Hickman's sloppy writing. Early on you couldn't tell her inclusion is bad but now that we know how badly paced the series is, it makes those earlier issues quite a bit weaker.

I liked this issue. Its good to see MJ's reaction to the last string of event, as well as more down to earth reaction to Gwen's "Anything goes if that mean I am winning".

The biggest tell for the schizo is that none of his posts include commas, and are often weird run on sentences that seem to cut off at random. This is because Polish and English comma rules are very different, and apps like Google Translate therefore just omit them. He uses commas appropriately when he slips up and posts in Polish (because he got mad and posted the Polish input rather than the English output), and when he posts in English it’s always weird, stilted, and with no commas at all because that’s what Google Translate feeds him.

The conclusion is that he doesn’t speak any English at all, only Polish. He uses google translate to translate our English posts into Polish, and then types up his response in Polish before translating it back into English for us.

This is why he never seems to understand what the hell we’re saying, misunderstanding our posts and replying with weird non-sequirors, and why all his posts are confused messes too. It also means he can’t read the text on images posted here because he can’t copy paste into google translate, which means he can’t read the text in storytimes either. It’s why he always seems very confused on the plot in these comics, and why he had no idea Norman Osborn came back as an AI in USM. At best he can guess the plot based on images and what Google Translate translates badly from our comments on the comic issues.

Heeee it depends. X-men was criticized for being too different, and now Wolverine is being mocked for being too similar to OG timeline.
I think there should be a bit of everything to make a world. However, Wolverine and Black Panther are still the worst because one is a just a edgy gorefest and the other is just boring. Both of them are a waste of characters imo.
