Well, I'm not going to write a whole system out for you (even though I've thought specifically about such a thing). I would actually suggest semi-light narrative-focused system like Fiasco or Year Zero Engine games, because just making arbitrary target number is both shitty to "players" and exhausting to you as "QM" (and you'll start defaulting to certain numbers frequently anyway). I had that exact same theory ages ago around episode 2 and, had things gone down different between how Caine interacts with the cast after pivoting hard with Zooble's therapy bit, it would have been the expected turn of events but right now it would be completely out of nowhere for Jax to suddenly grow close to him and manipulate him into doing more hostile adventures. Caine is too into his own bubble of self-depreciation issues that he isn't even paying attention to the humans and let them entertain themselves (unless he backtracks hard in ep7 and starts getting on their asses about being ungrateful and forcing them back into status quo), there's no way for Jax to make a move really
