Episode 7 was revealed to me in a dream.
Its already fading from my memory but the most important part was the first time Jax was mentioned or seen in the entire episode was at the ending, when he showed up partially abstracted at Pomni's door (crash to black).

There was also something about getting to the real world which Caine then started dragging into the game, and the reveal that all the NPCs were humans that managed to escape by forcing someone else into the game via chain letter. Also singing to sharks and blaming Canada for everything.

But the Jax thing was the neatest, and I'm mad that it won't happen. Just, any character not showing up or being mentioned until the end of the episode, and when they do finally show up they're abstracting. That'd be the way to do it.

it would really suck if Jax was revealed to be a fag or trans because that would massively simplify his entire character out to be some sort of bizarre manifestation of homo rage instead of what I'm seeing is his own self-destructive process of turning everyone against him due to some guilt from his past, he refuses to be liked or close to anyone for his own protection and cope that he's not really human anymore, this is not going end well for him or the unfortunate soul who will be dragged down by his misery.

I think it's pretty clear the Circus was never available to the general public. Kinger was probably a dev, or even a researcher given the "7 years of computer science". Queenie might have been, as well. Others were likely low level techs and/or volunteers. Pomni is the completely unintentional victim, grubbing about in abandoned buildings, and the same might be true of Zooble, but it's not certain. Anyway, point being it never reached the point where children would have been given access, and C&A became defunct before it could. One is left to wonder who's keeping the servers going for a dead office/company, though. I presume someone in the real world knows what they have wrought and can't bear to pull the plug.
