I just read it, and honestly, it’s really rough. The dialogue is terrible, and most of it doesn’t add anything. The story is rushed for no reason, and a lot of it doesn’t make sense. Jason comes off like an amateur who always needs help, and Huntress feels forced into the book. The plot itself could’ve worked, but everything else just falls apart.

The problem with this book from skimming it is that are art looks like it's trying to ape the same shit that Tim King has even the good quality artist that work on his book do, but here it's excessive, poorly planned out, poorly laid out on the page, and otherwise just looks - to one degree annoying or painful to page through.

The other problem, especially using Helena in it, is that it also feels like they are trying to ape what appealed to people about Grayon, but the dialogue and the story beats (at least in this one issue), don't mesh and it otherwise doesn't really hit that level - and it's not like Grayson or Tim Seeley-tier is some high bar to clear.
