Was just talking to someone about this. The problem is people think the art causes the insanity, when it's the other way around. People feeling rejected and shitty and/or actually ill use art to cope with how empty and fucked up the world seems. It's funny you say that, because it has absolutely nothing to do with it. Stamina gets you through a marathon or a rough day at work, and thats fine. That's what it's for. But that wont help you with something long term like a webcomic, or any kind of storytelling, for that matter. *Drive* is what keeps you at something like a creative endeavor. The will to see it through, no matter what, hell or high water be damned.

Lemme be real for a second: the page from this comic that I've posted here was created, in full, 11 years ago now. The idea that germinated into that image popped into my head probably a good decade before that, if not more. And it's still from the only chapter we've ever produced so far, because life fucking happened right as we were starting up. I got hit with the second greatest heartbreak of my entire life which spiraled me headlong into a horrific depression that ive juuuuust now been able to crawl my way out of. And meanwhile, my art friend went home and became a damn family man and got himself a wife and kid.

And you know what? We're still up and willing to keep at this. Its all about simply *wanting it to be*. Ive quite literally never went a day without plotting out some narrative point or character arc inside my head for twenty goddamn years now, and now that ive got my personal demons reined in finally we're getting back to work to make it an actual reality. If you dont have the drive, the need to create, to make something new, then you simply won't want to keep the fire lit and you'll move onto something else.

Long story short, La parka was the most popular wrestler in mexico, he caught the eye of wcw, and left to wrestle in america, but AAA wrestling was pissed and made a new la parka and when the OG la parka came back to mexico he was forced to change his name to l.a. park, so the og la parka and new la parka fought in 2 epic mask matches for the title of the real la parka in mexico, sadly, even though the 2nd la parka won the rights to the name, he died wrestling in 2020, so halloween last year a new la parka was resurected in the AAA storyline, i think the 2nd la parkas son, carrying on his dads legacy and the legacy of the OG la parka, because la parka is the most popular wrestler in all of mexico. think the rock, or jhon cena in america!

When I started Abnormal Shift I targeted the subreddits that were focused on military, fighting monsters or stuff on tactical art. It worked out pretty well cause people on them actually did click on the link to read it and gave me a good boost.

You just gotta look up some topics that are related to your comic in its theme or plot. There's a high chance of a subreddit being available for it. If not then r/imaginary characters is a good place to start for anything cause people love art but they love it more when there's a comic attached.

So first off its a story about a girl and a guy and girl accedently kills someone and the guy helps her hide the murder but the night that murder happened he got a calling from a "creature"(i thought about making it a humanoid version of some flower that has related meaning behind it to the story and put it in scenes throughout the story) and the creature tells him that only way for her to be saved is to kill more people and then shit happens (gonna expand the plot obv) and in the end they get arrested and it turns out he was a schizo

I did. Bones and I work at two different paces. While I would write a few BST scripts and tell him to do 1 a week, he's getting like 3 done and then wonder why I wasn't ready to pay him. We eventually worked it out and started doing stuff again until he wrote me a scathing message where he basically said he'd rather shoot himself than work for me again. So be it.
