Hard to say, it only had 4 seasons, so it never suffered from seasonal rot. But I would say season 4 feels a little weaker than the previous seasons, too much Blythe while the pets are either saddled with the B-plot, or are just doing whatever Blythe is doing.

Honestly some of the other characters in the show are no better like what is Peeper Clark’s talent pranks, tricks, jokes, and farting that doesn’t sound like talent but a recipe for disaster.

My only gripe with season 3 and 4 is that the writers kind of forgot ALL the pets have hidden potential, and that each of them were good at the things they loved, they just hadn't mastered them yet.
Penny Ling stops ribbon dancing altogether after S2 and Sunil and Vinnie suddenly have their hobbies reduced to brief gags where it's just "haha, look how SHIT and talentless they are!"

Doing some research, I found that the 2012 show was actually doing well as far as ratings were concerned, and the toys were the only problem.
Hasbro could have had both a successful show and toy line if they had just kept the Bobble in Style toys around (which were the old molds but based on characters from the show), but their solution was to kill the show that people actually liked, and then tried rebooting again, and things just kept going downhill from there.

I gathered it was be who you wanna be, if the theme song was anything to go by. Blythe and the pets all had hobbies and would have episodes showing them getting closer to reaching their dreams.
