My dad only watches drama shows and the history channel.
But my mom will watch Daria every now and then and put on cartoons for holidays like Ichabod Crane.

He watches/watched a few. I remember him really liking Toy Story, SpongeBob, The Fairly OddParents, CatDog, Back at the Barnyard, Regular Show, The Penguins of Madagascar, Robot Chicken and Family Guy. He's said to me ironically pic related that he did not like Aqua Teen (just wasn't funny to him), South Park is too disgusting, and that Bob's Burgers and American Dad are insufferable. He also thought Fanboy and Chum Chum and Uncle Grandpa were "crap bad." He got into Rick and Morty for a while, but fell off of it when [as] was no longer a part of our cable package. He also told me to turn Steven Universe off once, and I gladly agreed it was horseshit.

I watch with him Smiling Friends, he doesn't get it but chuckles occasionally

One time I walked in and he was watching robot chicken, and he immediately turned it to ESPN. If you're too young to remember, a lot of remote controls had a button that would take the TV to the last channel

Yes dad, I saw you watching robot chicken. I know that channel 31 and 45 are not that close to each other.

He's a big fan of the Cars series, been kind of a running gag that I give him something Cars related on his Birthday.
Got him some Wine and Mcqueen shampoo last year, before that a bottle of whiskey with a Gator hot wheels toy taped on it, he still keeps it in his liquor cabinet.

I remember my dad watched Archer and Boondocks a couple of times. That's about it.
I showed him Breaking Bad and he seemed to like that as well. When I was a kid he for some reason hated Ed Edd Eddy.

My dad has a seething hatred of any entertainment that isn't football and shitty daytime TV dramas. The fact that I'm a functioning adult that still enjoys animation is so baffling to him that he can't even be mad about it.
