Konami refusing to acknowledge that people don't like this as a silent hill is what is pissing me off most. They are getting constant feedback that it looks nothing like silent hill and instead of acknowledging the criticism they basically keep saying "if it doesn't look like silent hill then why is the game called silent hill?". I can't stomach even listening to the OST to this franchise anymore because of how raped the IP got after the Bridget fiasco, then they doubled and then tripled down on their retarded woke shit. Then they gave Dizzy an absolutely horrible redesign. Then they started putting in Cyberpunk shit that doesn't even fit the narrative or setting of the universe despite having Ragna literally RIGHT THERE in studio.

Like at some point in the past 2 years I just decided enough was enough and that I didn't want to be a fan or even associate with this mess of a franchise. I still listen to some of the old soundtracks and play Xrd and XX sparingly but I simply cannot play Strive for more than an hour before I just get disgusted with the game itself. 400+ hours on Strive btw, so it's not like I didn't give it multiple chances to win me over.

Remember at the end of the day, they came to seek YOU for guidance, not the other way around. You need to educate them and put your foot down, you may be surprised how they change their mind. If you just cave in from the start, they will start trying to run the show. If they still do not want to listen then, do what >>76354060 said. Have them to baby exercises and just collect their money. If they are unhappy with their progress, then give them the reality check otherwise keep taking their money. Best thing anyone ever told me was to not care more than the client. If they do not want to trust your knowledge, then you should not care to go the extra mile for them.

If you do want to try changing their perspective, don't be confrontational, be inquisitive:
