Unfortunately, the line is in the japanese version as well. Its only in the bad ending...? But also meant to be interpretted as hes trans now according to asw and daisuke iirc, i dont care what the excuse is whether its erm they had to fold to woke pressure or what but its a really dumb retcon. This funny side character i kind of like got groomed now k thanks awesome, so a tiny minority can get validation in the form of representation, at the expense of the games narrative and lore consistency really cool
