It’s too fast for new players to get into. The game was amazing at launch though, huge variety of players and easy to get matches with people around your skill level.

Main problem with strive is it drove off the entire community with the absurd damage. This is one of the only fighting games iv played where making 1-2 mistakes results in a loss. I liked it but having this much damage imo requires some tag elements. I’m not interested in rematching the same guy 3/4 times just so i can figure out his strategy and get on good footing. Same thing applies to when I encounter someone who has low match up experience with Axel. Idk i like fighting games but there’s something flawed with 10 second rounds
