But if you truly care about superficial fame, network. That’s the secret. Network with everyone possible and get them to give your comic a shout out. The way all the titans started back in the day was they’d send it to their friends and their friends would send it to their friends who would send it to their friends etc.
Today you have social media, streaming, and podcasts. Network, share your stuff with people who will share it as well, do podcast it interviews with even small shows they need guest stars, pay for shout outs from bigger streamers and podcasts, and do your best to become genuine friends with other artists. The real key is to be genuine and not just see networking as a means to an end.

Recently became friends with two artists, which helps a lot.

One of them taught me how to make a nice, CRT like filter, though I still need some practice.

I got the page sketched out and am writing the dialog on the page right now to see where i need to resize my art to fit around the dialog, having to cut a lot of info and lore dumps to fit all the dialog i want to onto the page. might need to cut out some more and save it for the next chapter. This page has the most panels of any page so far, but the art and characters are big and easy to see even if it might seem a little cramped at first lol.

As far as I know, Halloween was a thing 25 years ago and greatly overlapped with the goth/emo fashion that was popular at the time. The weather is not suitable for outdoors cosplay so it didn't catch on.

I was afraid of the same happening to me, I try to get the poses and expressions as close to how they were in the thumbs without making it look too lazy since I feel like that initial energy the thumb drawings have carries more raw feelings in them than an overly touched up improvement can have. I guess you just have to find the right balance between expressiveness and image quality that you're happy with.

Making a preview page for each of the 4 comics I haven't launched on webtoons yet. Here is some chicken scratch and dialog of a random page I have in mind for the first chapter. I tried to avoid spoilers, Ramens husband dies in a cool way is all i can say. This is an original comic, yes, it's inspired by ramna, but i promise you these are all original characters! UNUSSY takes place in my gonermon universe 100 years in the future, so there is a lot of references to my comic i just finished the first chapter of. Each one arrived in a small pod that said "GONERMON" they were running away from the lunarmon, but one of them followed them but got lost, when it finally landed in Japan in landed in a pod called "LUNARMON". Andy tried to catch this lunarmon, but it ended up catching him, and fusing with him, this lunarmon was called UNUSSY, its main ability is fusing with it's host to change it's gender, usless to humans, but to gonermon and lunarmon who are all females when they fully evolve, it's a priceless ability for male and female sexual intercorse between the alien creatures!

My chicken scratch might be hard to read, but Ramen is 154 years old, she learned all her martial arts from her now dead husband, there will be a cool flash back scene of him and her in the first chapter on the night of his death. but you will only see it if you vote for this comic. Jake found his way to manga gen after I mentioned they helped me with a page, and he's now punishing me for this by invading /mmg/ and posting fucking endlessly all while saying I'm the reason he's there. I do not believe that only reviews from other creators should be payed attention to as if that were the case then the majority of reviews wouldn't exist as the majority of reviews for any entertainment are from people who never created anything.
If creators want to get a big following then they're gonna have to accept reviews from people who are not creators, this is how the majority of reviews work.

Everything i mentioned was this month. Sure it's not as big as creating a webcomic yet i think it's still nice. I commissioned OC in /coc/ and made a story about it and i helped Anons in /hyw/ with their stories with stuff they could implement, such as giving someone a location concept to use and another person an OC concept i once had. There are people in these thread who are open to taking suggestions from anyone.

Here's the thing, the way i see it, reviews are not meant to change anything, they are made to be recommendations for good things and warnings for bad things.
Now don't get me wrong i do agree and admit that reviews can have the power to make changes but at the same time, from my experience, that mentality more often than not backfires and has been used by people who i find to be pretentious to me, no offense, i've just been disappointed too many times by YouTube reviewers with big egos promising their complaints will change media only for it to backfire.
What i want my reviews to be is the former, as i plan on hosting them on a blog once i get up to seven reviews, this is why my reviews are structured the way that they are, i could say so much more but with both reviews not only did i hold myself back but i even deleted parts of the review as i want them to be short and sweet while giving a vague idea of the comics to encourage people to check them out for themselves. They are made to help support the comics not by changing them but by spreading word of mouth in hopes that more people will read them. Think of them as online versions of a newspaper ad.

Oh yeah, Pan was a favorite of mine during my teen years. I don't keep up with him as much as i used to but i still have a strong history with him and i watched his stuff for over a decade now with a few breaks depending on how long it takes him to upload.
I tend to go really deep depth in my thoughts when it comes to stuff closely tied to my childhood/teen years, double when combined with overflowing emotions and not being afraid to offend anyone.
I'm sorry for not doing the same for the comics, despite still enjoying them very much they just are brand new to me, i don't overflow with emotions for them and i try to be as nice as possible as to not offend any creators, unless they ask for brutal honesty themselves.

Well actually i have said i am here because of God before and, correct me if i'm wrong but, i am pretty sure i said that the reason why i put myself on hiatus (Not drawing or working on my own concepts and ideas.) is also because of God.

Reading and reviewing comics is quick, i can do it in a single morning so if i want to do weekly reviews that means i can rest for a whole week, although i will try to get those reviews out more often. I also tend to have fun just enjoying threads and other online discussions, it's a good time i enjoy having, and i can have fun doing multiple things, i just need a schedule.

*In this comic about sin and redemption, right and wrong, heaven and hell, and the wild west. I decided to commit the biggest sin of all... USING COMIC SANS IN A WEBCOMIC! Lol, that's the number 1 rule of what not to do when making a digital comic, and I'm doing it because it fits with the themes of the comic here lol. I made a lot of concept art for Bathory, went through a lot of names for her too, like Bethany was her name for a long time, but Bathory has bat in it, and she's a vampire, so here we are now lol. After trying every hairstyle i could i am going with upside down frizzy collar, because dracula wear a big black and red collar on his cape, i just flipped the collar part upside down for Bathory's hair design. She is the daughter of a high ranking angel so she is a nephilim, but also got bit by a vampire, so she has all kinds of supernatural powers lol. But the sun will turn her into dust and she has all the vampire weaknesses so she has to be careful. Her father, stripped of all his angelic divinity and made mortal, is dragging her by chain and coffin to las vegas where his angel friend said he would cure her of her unholy disease. All while Lucifer is whispering in their ear the whole trip lol.

I mentioned before but Terriful #1 is finally done 100%. I sent it around and got some feedback for it. It's really a nice new fresh start that's honestly very overdue.

I'm thinking about doing a home print operation to really seal the deal on it being amateur. However, the way I want to do it is to print two pages on a single sheet of paper on landscape and then fold them in half to make the book. When I do, the right side of the book pages all stick out more than they should and when I chop it, it cuts off part of the page. Anyone here done home prints and can give me some pointers on how to compensate for bleed?

Hey, as a follower of Christ i love that you're getting into Christ as well but the thing is is that nuns are not supposed to be sexualized like that they're supposed to be chaste.
I have taken it upon myself to help you fix her by giving her an edit to make her more chaste.
As you can see i have make her chest smaller and less noticeable to be more realistic as well as making her more thin (I felt like chubby is a fetish you put on her.) and removed certain shadows on her dress.
I know you might have to take time to get used to it but i know you will appreciate me helping you with this as i know you want your comic to be SFW and attract that SFW audience that you want and more importantly we need to stay true to God and his Word.
I know you will be able to accept my feedback one day and i hope that time is soon.
