It just kind of feels like it's tearing down the walls of the original premise to accommodate for the direction they decided to take things. It's the pilot episode but with worse animation and voice work, and made to fit into the current series. I dunno man. There's a certain point where you have to kind of step back and evaluate what you've sunk your claws into, and I feel like I've been sinking my claws into a whole lot of overly dramatic stuff that's willing to throw past characterization under the bus to keep it going.
