It was wrong. Dante has always been wall level at best. Even with SMT wank

I actually thought the animation for Omni-Man vs. Bardock was good. I know a lot of people had problems with it, but I thought it was great.

Even if you disagree about Bardock losing, given the power gap between the two it makes sense for Nolan to take little damage. It also put Nolan in some kind of a mentor or elder role to Bardock, and let Nolan show how far he had come by defeating someone who had been down the same path as him. He wasn't just fighting Bardock, he was TEACHING Bardock. And I think that's very heartwarming in a way. That Nolan would take the lessons he learned and help someone who was just like him.

If this weren't a Death Battle I'm sure they would have ended cordially and taught each other well. The ending is weird, even if heartwarming in its own way. It was nice to see Nolan reflect on his victory, but it feels weird to have him just two-shot Bardock's strongest form.

I haven't watched Bardock's special though (but after watching this fight I think I might watch the DBZ Abridged version!) so I might be missing stuff but as a big Invincible fan I thought they did Nolan justice and from what I saw they treated Bardock with the utmost respect. From the way they were setting up Dante's preview it honestly didn't sound like he's getting universal anything (they jumped right into that shit with Kratos) and is going to be way weaker than Clive's featman shit, even if that wouldn't make sense after Kratos.
