Hard disagree. The school being a single gender finishing school makes it more unique compared to other shit like Monster High.
I think the cadets are a good idea, they just needed to give the characters some actual fucking character. The colonel himself is at least entertaining enough, but the cadets are bland as shit and have zero chemistry with the ghouls outside of just being rivals because the script says they are.
